I hired a General Contractor to handle a remodel project and all I got was sub contractors showing up with no idea what to do and I had to help guilde them almost every day. Ford worked in South Florida while my project was in North Florida. No one supervised the project except for maybe 2-3 days out of 5 months of work. Despite my attempt to oversee the job, there were countless mistakes that cannot be repaired due to cost and I have no idea what else is wrong. I am left with a law suit asking for payment for a completed project and one was not delivered. Ford left the job before plumbing, HVAC, Gas, trim, punch out, electrical and subs were finished or paid in full. I expressed the problems I was left with and what was left to be completed and he immediately left the job and filed suit. Don't hire Ford unless you want to supervise your construction project. Also, don't pay Ford until you have all lien releases and the job is done.
