Our siding was installed without moisture barrier or flashing and there were gaping holes that funneled the rain under the siding causing disastrous water rot. We didn't discover the extent of the damage until 6 years later and initially RD Wilson told us the lifetime warranty would cover all repairs. After ignoring us for 2 and a half months we finally got someone else from WCI to come out to let us know when the work would be done. Instead of hearing when things would begin we were told the repairs were not covered after all so we had no choice but to hire our own contractor to do the repairs for a cost of $5700.00, almost as much as we paid for the siding initially. We contacted the BBB to report WCI's warranty denial and through the companies rebuttals they accused us of negligence even after seeing our documentation of the damage that had occurred. This company, in our opinion, is dishonorable and unscrupulous. Be warned if you choose to use them.

We got along with them very well and they made sure to correct every problem that we had. They cut the alarm wire for our home, as well as leaving the yard a mess. They beat everyone's prices though and they fixed the wire. They were friendly and on time. There were just things here and there, that we felt could have been better. After those things got corrected though, we would use them again.

I was very unhappy with WCI Group Inc. If I wasn't knowledgeable of the issues I would not have recognized all the problems. They did take all the siding off and redo it. I was very unhappy with WCI, but I did get the subcontractor to make it right.
