Carpet Concepts was started in 1966 with a very simple mission, to provide quality products at competitve prices. It has always been and will always be a family business. We have only three employees. However there is almost 100 years combined experience among those three. We have a store in Jacksonville and one in Jacksonville Beach.

Its a family run business and they were all involved making sure it all worked out well. Just started carrying Dash and Albert rugs so I was able to purchase two of those as well. Great assortment of carpet to choose from and they picked up the large rugs I had, cleaned them and cut them to size with the new house and delivered. Couldn't be better

I went in on August 29th to Carpet Concepts and picked out a sample. They gave me a price written down on their card along with the sample number for the carpet. The following day I went in and paid them half in advance and ordered. The price was no much higher. I had the card with the number and so they went with that price. They took the order. I called them to find out that the piece was in and it was bound. I found out that something needed to be done so it wasn't ready. I went to pick it up a few days later. I thought it looked like the wrong color when I picked it up, and sure enough it was. I decided to keep it and that I wanted the rest of the carpet I had paid for. I called them to let them know this. When I went in the following day, they didn't have the great big samples out that I could compare my piece to. I asked for the rest of my carpet and they made excuses and told me I'd have to pay more money for it. They were using the carpet I had paid for to sell and make profit off of it at their other store.

"Member came to Carpet Concepts, Inc. and wanted to order a 4 x 5 rug made from a carpet. When we order carpet we have to buy in the widths that it is available. This product is a 12 foot width meaning we had to order 12 x 4. The salesperson she first dealt with is an owner and decided to only charge her for half of the 12 x 4 thus the $280 price. However the Member returned and asked another salesperson for a price, never telling him she already had a quote. He quoted her $480 because he was charging her for the entire 12 x 4. At that point the Member produced the business card of the first salesperson (the owner) for $280. We of course honored that price and made the rug for her. She ordered Karastan's "Ribbon Dance" color Lush Garden in a 4 x 5 bound all around. That is exactly what Carpet Concepts delivered. A day or two after she paid for and picked up her rug she returned demanding the balance of the carpet. We explained to her on two occasions that the reason she only paid $280 instead of $480 was because we were only charging her for half of the carpet we needed to order to make her rug. We feel bad about this misunderstanding on her part, but we did try twice to explain it to her. Carpet Concepts, Inc. has been in business for over 46 years we take pride in providing quality products at competitive pricing. We have tens of thousands of loyal customers. We work very hard to satisfy each and every one of them. The Member just could not understand what we were explaining to her."
