Excellent service by Dr. Steve Lancaster. He was very thorough and explained to me exactly what was going on with my eye and then answered any questions I had regarding the eye infection. This is one of the best eye doctors I have ever had interaction with and recommend him highly. Dr. Lancaster has excellent patient relations and is brilliant in his recommendations for eye care and for contact lenses and glasses. Once you go to him, you will never be happy with any other eye doctor. He works very closely with Dr. Schmunes who is equally as good with his patient care.

My appointment went great. First you are greeted at the main desk and ask to sign in. About 10 minutes later an assistant called me back and preformed some simple test. She then put drops in my eyes to dilate them. It takes about 25 minutes for your eyes to dilate. Next I saw Dr. Lancaster. He did the best eye exam I have ever had! He has a very good bedside manner

Wait time after check-in was brief (five minutes if that). The technician doing all the initial measures was very thorough and especially pleasant (Laticia). Equipment they use is amazing though, since this was my first eye check, I don't know if they are the current industry standards. The doctor was also thorough and had a good bedside manner. Only thing I didn't care for: Dr. Lancaster seemed pretty determined to convince me use contacts instead of the low power reading glasses I already own (store boughts) even to the point of putting one in my eye then sending me to have a discussion re: financing with his assistant. This seemed like overkill and rather presumptuous. The assistant (Ashley) appeared neutral re: use of reading glasses vs. contacts and didn't pressure me. I appreciated that considerably.
Don't misunderstand these comments, however, my experience was excellent. From check-in to check-out it was a pleasure and I felt I was getting a complete and accurate assessment. I highly recommend them. Just don't be persuaded to choose any corrective measures you don't wish to use.

Went to Atlantic Eye on an emergency basis and was seen the next day and followed up in 5 days. In addition to solving the problem, they gave me some hints on eye care that were very helpful.

You could not ask for a more competent or caring Dr. He is very informative, always telling you what his latest take is on your condition. He is always up on the latest developments in the treatment of glaucoma. I have had glaucoma for the better part of 30 years. Dr. Shetty is only one of 2 providers who has given me exceptional care during that time. He is mellow and easy going and never fails to explain existing situations. He talks to you in terms you can understand easily. He is intelligent and respectful.
Unfortunately we are in the process of moving to Denver. I wish I could pack Dr. Shetty and his staff and move them with me. I will most definitely miss him and his care.

Dr. Duss quickly and efficiently diagnosed me with dry eyes, handed me a sample bottle of eye drops, and asked me some questions about my lifestyle and habits. He scheduled me to return a few weeks later, suggesting the problem was that I sleep with an overhead fan. When I returned much improved (and no headaches!) he seemed certain that it was the fan. I always ask a lot of questions and he answered them all clearly and efficiently. I was very happy with the appointments and very confident in his diagnosis.

My vision was post-40's, readers-required. The PRK procedure performed at Atlantic Eye Institute restored my reading vision, while retaining my distance vision. This surgery comes 10 years after a LASIK procedure that corrected my nearsightedness (different practice). I was aware that the and quot;mono visionand quot; (one eye corrected for distance, the other eye corrected for reading) was very disorienting for some people, so they gave me a contact lens to simulate the effect of the surgery. I wore this lens for a few day and felt confident that I would be able to quickly adjust to mono-vision. For the first month or two I experienced some minor night-driving glare, but now, 10 months after the surgery I am 100% happy with the procedure. Highly recommended!

They're very good. I like them. I use the best that I can get. Atlantic Eye Institute absolutely love my eyes because I have a strange thing called drusen of the optic nerve. They just loved to look at it. They have all the students come in and they look at my eyes. The optic nerve have the little crystals. The crystals grow on the optic nerve. They're not dangerous in the sense that they occlude vision but they just live on the eyes. They're beautiful from what everybody tells me. I can look through the eye and see them on the back part of the retina. They scheduled it. The guy is very good. He's very into his medicine. He's got two places here in town. He is very nice to be around as a doctor. He's very professional. He has different layers. When I go in there, I go to the place where they talk about the glaucoma. Next, I sit over and get my eyes dilated. I sit there for a few minutes. They have someone else come in and do different things and ask me a few questions as well as do some tests on me. As far as spending a whole lot of time there, I have to sit in the doctor's office for eyes. I have to have the sit time. They're very reasonable with their prices so far. They kept calling me. I've not had the chance to get in there but I need to get in there to get them done and get it looked at again. They're convenient. They're compassionate and clean. They're organized. They have an optician like in any other office to get my eyes done. I can go over there to check my glasses as well. It's pretty shop-and-go there. I would use them again. They're very good. They go after new information and apply it in their business. They're mostly two or three months out. Their office environment is very good. Everything works in cohesion. All of them are topnotch. I would absolutely use them in the future.

I have been going to Dr. Shmunes since the mid to late 1980s. He is just an excellent physician. I do have problems with my eyes and even though there are other doctors in his practice he always makes a point of seeing me. He keeps a continuous record and he may see changes that someone who hasn't seen me before might not see. I think his skills are excellent. My vision, for what it is, is a direct result of his care. He has a great staff and everyone is very professional. Inside their office they have an optical unit so you can have your glasses done at the same place. Which makes it nice and convenient.

I had to wait about 30 minutes to be seen by the tech first. There was a t.v. on with the news in the waiting area, so waiting was not unpleasant. But the tech was very professional. After I reminded the Doctor of my medical history he performed an additional exam and said everything was fine.

They call themselves eye guys. I had my regular checkup. They are going to do some laser surgery. I have had cataract surgery there. They saved my husband's eyesight. He had retina problems. We have been going there for about 11 years now. They are great. I have an appointment for laser surgery in three weeks.

They are very efficient. They get loaded up, but they kept it all going and they have a lot of people working and moving people around. They get things done. The staff is very pleasant and organized.
