+ -1 moreOn time and exactly the price they quoted ($35.00). I had previously brought this to an "A" rated luggage repair business I found on Angie's List. They wanted $90. The message was clear -- they did not want to do the job. I would have appreciated it if I didn't waste my time dealing with someone that doesn't want to do the work. Atkinson gladly did the work on time and on budget. More importantly, you can't even tell there is a new zipper.
Description of Work: My leather duffle bag has zipper pockets at each end. The teeth on one of the zippers broke and the the zipper would not work. Thye determined (and I agreed) it could not be repaired so they replaced the zipper.

+ -1 moreI dropped the bag off in July. When it was time to pick it up, I went in and found black stripes/marks all over the bag. I told them the marks were not there when I dropped it off, and they needed to get them out. When I came back the second time, if basically looked like they spray painted it with some cheap leather coloring, which flaked off when I rubbed the bag. I asked the guy what the stuff was coming off on my hands, and he got embarrassed like, and said "I'm going to have Charlie look at this." Two more times I went back and the same thing! I finally told them I wasn't paying for the services and that I will take my bag elsewhere to be conditioned. I finally picked the bag up on New Years Eve!!! I plan to take my bag to Gus and Co. downtown. He has worked on things for me before (including this same bag), but I thought I would save myself a trip downtown.
Description of Work: I took a leather bag (Elliott Lucca - nice leather) to them because suntan oil had leaked all over it.

Description of Work: I had been to him before, but not for a long time. I brought him a pair of very expensive diabetic shoes. The sole was coming off but they were still in pretty good shape.
