Run -- Don't Walk! My five months of service with this company have been very disappointing. In all of that time, I received only TWO brief notes to document their "weekly" service to my pool! I received these two notes only because I asked for some feedback after months of no communications with me except for their billing. When I called or spoke to any representative of the company, they were unprofessional, curt, and condescending. If you would like to deal with a "service" company that does not provide any feedback except when specifically requested or whose employees behave like they are doing you a big favor throughout any interactions with them, then this is the one for you!

I am a new pool owner and recently moved into a home that had previously used Andy's for the last 11 years. The previous owner told me that if I wanted to use Andy's that I had better keep the rotation ans they have a very large waiting list for new clients. The first time I called Andy was to ask why the Polaris wasn't working. I called after 5PM. Andy told me it was on a timer from 9-5. I then had to ask where exactly was the pump as I couldn't locate it? Behind the tropical bushes in back yard. Ha! The next time I called was after a horrific storm and I virtually had a pine forest in the pool. Andy walked me how to clean out the bag of needles from the Polaris and the drains. Now to the reason I am writing this review. I noticed the pool looked a little cloudy and when I pulled the Polaris out noticed a disconnect from the hose to the base. Before I could call Andy's I received a message from Janet telling me the tech saw the problem the day before and since I was new, just wanted to tell me that they would take care of it and just charge me for the parts. If the problem was large, they would call me first. So the part was $16 and because I use them as my regular service, there are no labor or service charges. Whew! A beautiful thing. Thank you Andy's!!

On June 1, 2013, I had a problem with my pool pump, so called my Home Warranty Service. The company that they assigned to me did not timely respond to the request. By the time they finally responded on June 7, 2013, my pool had turned green.
I had used Andy's Pools in the past for pool cleaning, so called them on Monday, June 10, 2013, to request a one-time thorough cleaning of the pool and my pool filter. Andy assured me that he would be out the next day and that pool would be ready for swimming by the weekend.
Andy did, in fact, appear for service the next day (Tuesday, June 11) to clean the pool. At that visit, he also noted that I needed a new part to protect my motor which would add an additional $15 to my bill.. I consented to this additional service.
Three days later (Friday, June 14), Andy returned to replace the part. When he left my home, the Barracuda was disassembled and sitting on the deck. I assumed that he would be back later that day to finish the job.
On Sunday, June 16, 2013, I emailed and left a voice mail for Andy regarding the fact that he had not completed the job and that the Barracuda was still sitting on my pool deck unassembled.
On Monday, June 17, 2013, Andy returned to finish the job. I was very disappointed that it had taken him a full week to complete the job in contravention of his assurances that the job would be finished by the weekend.
BUT, I then received a bill for $400.71 for his services! When I looked at how these costs broke down, I discovered that more than half of the bill was for labor-- he had charged me a total of 3 hours labor at $85 per hour! I was incredulous! (My electrician charges $90 per hour, and obviously his training far exceeds that of a pool cleaner. Furthermore, I dispute that Andy spent 3 hours on the job.)
In any event, I paid the bill, but also informed Andy that I will not be using his services again. I am disappointed that this experience was not up to the same standards that I had received in the past.

The technician that performed the repair (Chris) was very knowledgeable and efficient. He called early in the day to let us know when we could expect him and called again later when he was on his way. He worked quickly and performed the repair without any problem or delay. Unfortunately, our pool pump motor died about 5 weeks after this and we called Andy's again. The service call was placed on Monday morning and Andy explained that they were running about a day behind. The next day, the service technician (Chris again) called to provide an update and let us know he would come on Wednesday. On Wednesday, he performed the repair as promised. Again he was quick and efficient. Overall, this company's communication and responsiveness is excellent, as is their quality and efficiency. Highly recommended.

sThey are very professional and nice people. They let me know of any issues which is imperative since I live in NJ. They have called me in NJ to inform me of problems. For example, they let me know that a tenant was changing the timer on the pool filter, resulting in increased cost of chemicals. When my property manager told me that the pool deck was sinking I called Andy. He went out to the house the same day; he called me to tell me that nothing has changed since we bought the house and I didn't need to worry. Can't say enough good things about Andy's.

Andy's Pools is not the cheapest provider in the area, but their technicians are very experienced, knowledgeable, reliable and thoroughly professional. All work they have done for me has met or exceeded expectations. Before I started using Andy's for regular weekly maintenance, my pool had gotten terribly "out of control" chemically during my prolonged absence. I first hired the original pool builder to straighten out the multiple problems, and, over a three week period, that firm failed miserably at getting my pool back in shape. Some of their work actually made matters worse. Subsequently, I called Andy's Pools desperate for help. Andy's people diagnosed the problems, went to work promptly and had my pool sparkling clear within a week. Since then Andy's has been excellent at maintaining my pool weekly. I would never use any firm other than Andy's Pools.

I was satisfied with their work. It was okay. They basically got the job done. They are actually supposed to follow up with an estimate for some repair and never did.

He waved the service charge because he was only here for 20minutes. Great service, and very nice guy. Didn't charge me a dime.

They did a good job and we would call them again if we needed more work. They came right out when we called them and the guy that came out was experienced.

They've been out here several times. I like everything about them. Their prices are very reasonable. They are very courteous and very knowledgeable. Some things that other pool companies never told me, they told me. It just worked out very well. I am very happy. I talked to a lot of people. Andy's Pools came in with the lowest, and offered me the most. I can't say enough good things about them. I had some problems that other companies didn't pick up, and they were right on it. I am so pleased with them. They really are an awesome company.

In both instances, he demonstrated deep knowledge, responsive performance and complete professionalism. Probably not the cheapest but not out of range either.

We were very happy with them. We spent about $3,000 on that work. They were very professional, certainly knew what they were doing and were fast. We shopped around and they were a good price.

It went well. He came, did it, and left me a bill. He came out the day he said he would. The price was a little high, but it was a specialty part.

We have used Andys Pools for the past four years. They are very prompt and the quality is great. I would refer them to others.
