Professional, excellent service

It was excellent.

All 4 locks were re-keyed in the matter of about an hour. Technician was very knowledgeable and did a great job.

Tech showed up on time. Work was done accurately and efficiently.

They did a superb job.

The technician was punctual; he actually arrived early. He assessed the damages and repaired the mailbox lock within ten minutes. I will use A1A Lock and Key again if needed.

The guy who came out was really nice and did good work.

I had eight locks that needed to be changed. He showed up promptly. He got the job done quickly. He was very personable and professional. Price was reasonable.

Contacted A1A Lock and Key on Monday 11/18/13 and scheduled appointment for the next day in the morning. Very prompt at coming out to do the job. Brett came to the house about 930am and stayed till 130pm. 4 hours on the job. Very nice and professional and diligent at his job. Got to all 10 doors, as I said earlier 8 of which had deadbolts so 18 locks to change all together. Some of the doors I didn't have a key to so he had to make changes without original key. Also fixed the doors that we had trouble closing. Now all the door locks work well. Was a bit expensive $466, but expected to pay because of all the work that needed to be done. We bought house 3 yrs ago and have been procrastinating changing the locks. Finally got to it and once I called A1A Lock and Key, they got it done very quickly. Good Job!

Changed all external locks

Change locks and gave us spare keys. In addition, a couple of the doors required changes because the original locks, put in years ago, was done incorrectly. He pointed this out and did the remediation.

Returned (weekend) call promptly. Was on site quickly. Performed services professionally and efficiently. Price was a little high for a simple service, but we decided it was preferable to pay the higher rate rather than wait for less responsive providers.
As a comparison, the first service provider we call has still not returned our call (6 hrs after call was placed).

Excellent from arrival to departure...Brett was punctual and very helpful with some suggestions and recommendations. The service was completed in a timely and courteous matter. He also evaluated and gave a estimate quote on fixing a desk drawer with a lock which I will consider at a later time.

Zach was punctual, professional and gave great explanations on alternatives. We're eventually going to replace the hardware so this was a stop-gap measure to reduce the number of keys needed and to replace the old keys from prior owner. While $300 is not chump change, it was important to us to change the keys to our house.
Zach rekeyed or blocked a combination of 9 doors (yes - the house builder went crazy with 6 doors to the back); each door has a combination of one or two locks (all with deadbolts, most with handle locks as well). Zach also installed a deadbolt on our garage-laundry room door. Combining new keys and our recently installed security-camera system, we have increased peace of mind.
