Rex Air

As an old, somewhat jaded, long-time resident of the Keys, I have come to expect good service from just a handful of businesses: FKEC, Keys Sanitary, FKAA. (Okay, there are a few more.) I was skeptical I would add REX Air to that short list. But, a gaggle of young men showed up yesterday at 8:15, as promised. They were polite, respectful of my home, and in spite of a difficult install, exchanged happy banter while they worked. The best news is, my new A/C is a surprising improvement from my old A/C. I had grown to accept waking throughout the night to throw-off the covers until my A/C kicked-on and my bedroom cooled down again. My A/C never kept my house at a constant temperature. I awoke multiple times last night, from habit I guess, and although the temperature was perfect, I listened for the noise from the new A/C. I drifted back to sleep while trying to decide if it was running or not. I am going to enjoy making a new habit of sleeping through the night. Thank you Roman, Levi, Alex, Tommy, and some who's names I'll never know. I highly recommend REX Air.

Very well. Josh explained what had happened and why it was not cooling. Checked the conditioner inside and out, refreshed it and it is now working just fine.. Explained how to maintain it on a monthly basis. Josh was on time, courteous, and professional. I have been a customer of Rex Air for several years and have every intention of remaining their customer in the future

I was very happy with the results

Tom was within the time window and called when he was on his way. He checked our system carefully, added Freon, and thoroughly investigated for leaks. He found that we had a coil in need of replacement, and investigated several options, and helped us settle in replacing the coil. He then actually found the unit was under warranty, which we didn’t know! Yay Tom! We look forward to the completion of the job soon.

Easy to work with RexAir -- they are smart, knowledgeable, easy to work with, got the work done quickly. I would DEFINITELY recommend using them for any HVAC work in the Florida Keys!

They found a bad relay, the service tech called me and we decided to replace it. Price was right and discounted because I have a service contract. He also texted me pictures of the work done. Can't beat that! Thanks Rex, running great!

Thomas did a great job, I was not home but I gave him access to get in, you can trust these guys that work at Rex Air! Tom did the service on both units and identified a corroded liquid line drier on one of them, called me with a price to repair and we agreed he would be scheduled to come back on Monday to conduct that repair. I have been using Rex Air since I bought a place in the keys 3.5 years ago and service and professionalism has been consistently great from each and every employee who has come out to my house or whom I have spoken with over the phone. I have signed up to their annual service plans which is reasonably priced and gives me peace of mind. Thanks, Henry M.

They are a great team and all clearly care about their work! We had Scott evaluate our issue and he really put thought and time into finding the best solution. Johnathan did the install and was very conscientious and even came up with a duct solution that would leave us more attic space for storage. Rich did the maintenance and went out of his way, taking extra steps, to make sure he addressed all of our concerns. They are very professional, do quality work, and show-up when they say they will. An overall, positive experience!

Nick diagnosed the problem immediately. He had a replacement fan on his truck. He gave me the alternatives of replacing just the fan or a new system. We decided on replacement. He was knowledgeable and finished the job in a very short period of time. He tested the fan for both cooling and air and left a neat job site!!! It doesn't get better than that. Price was fair, too.

The service was great. Shane was pleasant, knowledgeable and friendly. I'd definitely recommend Rex Air to my friends, family and the community.

Rex Air replaced a central A/C compressor for my father-in-law's mobile home in the Florida Keys a few years ago and we were pleased. We took over the mobile last year and set up a maintenance contract. We were very impressed with the speed and quality of the first service call and especially with the customer service. Then came Hurricane Irma and the system was wiped out by storm surge. In spite of the overwhelming workload dumped on them after the hurricane, Rex Air has quoted and committed to install a new system for us within two weeks of our phone call. Right after the hurricane they answered the phone every time and we were able to get answers any time we needed them. Special kudos to MARY, who was our main contact and is just SUPER at her job.

Nick called to advise us he was enroute, and arrived as scheduled. He was friendly, courteous, neat, explained the work he was going to do, and completed that work within a reasonable time. He also enabled a previously unknown (to us) lighted display feature on our thermostat which will allow us to adjust the temperature without turning on/off hallway lighting. RexAir has really "upped" its service after the sale, and seems to be committed to becoming the best a/c company in the Upper Keys.
