TAYLOR RENTAL

We rented for 24 hours & the sander was due back at 1:00 pm Saturday. We received a nasty phone message at 1:30, saying they closed at 3:00 & we needed to have it back by then or by 7 am Monday (because they're closed on Sunday). We didn't get the message until after 3 pm; we were running late, expected to pay for the extra 2 hours we had it and we would be there on Monday morning. My husband is a contractor & has rented from numerous tool rental places; he assured me that he has NEVER been charged for Sunday when they're closed. I returned the sander at opening on Monday and didn't notice until the credit card bill came that they hadn't adjusted the bill from $40 to $54 (which would have been ok for the extra 2 hours), but they charged $40 PLUS $54; the $54 was being charged for Saturday and Sunday. It wasn't due in until 1 pm Saturday, so they're actually double charging us for that day, and then charging for Sunday also. They are not interested in discussing this. The owner of this franchise is nasty and he actually yelled at my husband--who also was yelling, I'm sure. But I've been in retail all of my life...the customer is not always right, but you must work with him to make him feel as if he was treated fairly, and in this instance, we were not. I would NEVER deal with these people again.
