I ran across an employee of Mantiques a few months ago and said I would pack up my clock and send it to them for diagnosis and repair. Upon receiving my clock they promptly went through an inspection and provided me with the repair options. After giving them the OK, my clock was cleaned and refurbished to great working order. They carefully re-packing and shipping it back to me. I anxiously wound it up and set the time. Since many parts were new it took about a month to "break in". They informed me of this process. It has now been a few months and the clock is ticking away right on time. It is wonderful hearing the old chimes again. Shawn the repair-tech did a great job and communication with me through the whole process was excellent. I would highly recommend Mantiques and Other Finery for any clock repair.

Repaired to fine operating condition an old mantle clock, we've had for years. The triple chime movement involved proved, eventually, too degraded to repair and Mike was able to find a used replacement movement that was rebuildable as a replacement..
He quickly responds to email and kept us up to date on the status of repairs. His price was reasonable considering the extent of the work needed. His shop is a unique place to visit and he's pet and small (well-behaved) child friendly. Overall a fine craftsman and an interesting fellow, who guarantees his work.

Mike is not a clock repair man; he is the clock WHISPER -- – this is his passion, truly! He gets to know your clock's quirks and personality then he times all parts together in perfect harmony > > > better than new. You need CLOCK (Whisper) repair/service CALL MIKE period.

Michael, the owner, pointed out to me that I had been actually over oiling the timepieces over the last couple of years and that was not good for the movements, as it could cause other problems.  I'm very please with his expert service, detailed attention to my fine antique clocks and his very  reasonable prices for his services. I have been collecting antique clocks for over 40 years and have dealt with many clock repair shops.  I would highly recommend Mantiques and Other Finery for you clock repairs.

The repair man *Mike* arrived as scheduled and on time. I was very impressed with his knowledge of clocks and there inner workings. My Grandmother clock was in need of a complete overhaul so he took only the guts of her with him and re-built them at his shop. He did such a wonderful job that i also had him tune-up my 117 year old Sessions Gingerbread mantel clock as well. That too came out fantastic and is running like a charm. I would recommend this clock repair man to anyone that is in need of having a clock fixed or repaired or even completely overhauled. He really knows his clocks.
