Hise Roofing

This is my 2nd re-roofing. The color selection of the new shingles is a more appealing color with a high quality ridge vent. Even the brochure was ultra professional. I knew exactly what I was purchasing. Gator came immediately to perform the Wind Mitigation Inspection and another day to check on clean up and my seamless gutters were secure. I am very satisfied with their work. They did an excellent job and done all in one day, they cleaned up well, and guttering was great. They did what they said they would do. exactly what the contracts states, I had no problem with them and their work. A fair price for all the things they have done.

When Mr. Hise came to our home to give us an estimate to replace our roof  he was very courteous, honest and knowledgeable. Everything was explained thoroughly and clearly.  We understood everything and were left with no doubts  in our minds that we wanted to do business with him. They even helped us pick the right color.  What also reinforced our decision is the fact that every time we called his office  we either had an immediate response or  a quick return call back. His crew was punctual, polite, worked hard, did great clean-up, and did a great job. We get compliments that we have the nicest roof on the block. We highly recommend Hise Roofing. Great company to do business with.

Their quote came in the lowest of everybody contacted. This was on 4/13/2015. After 2 months of not hearing from them on when they would start the project, I tried to contact them. I left 4 different messages to call me back without a response. I decided to start contacting other contracters to start the quoting process again. Called Hise one last time around the first of July and finally somone answered the phone. The excuse was they were busy. They finally showed up on 7/14 to do the work. The roof looks fine but my neighbor complained of metal left on her lawn. She found this when she was mowing and started hitting pcs. of metal with her lawnmower. I would not recommend useing this company.

They did a really good job.

My wife & I had "Hise Roofing" completely remove our existing shingles, put down a "membrane" covering the whole roof & replace 5 existing skylights with modern, energy efficient ones. Primarily I communicated with Steve Hise Sr., but on occasion, office mgr. "Jessica" or  Steve Hise Jr. would answer my concerns. We scheduled appomx. 2 months in advance, & Steve did not require a down payment, which I thought was rare indeed. The other 3 companies that gave us estimates, all required from 1/3 to 100% of the total, before they would even start the job.

The construction started on time, & lasted for appromx. 3 days before completion. My family was in the construction business for many years, so I knew something about the roofing business, & I was impressed by the quality & professionalism of his crew. The area around the home was clean, & no debris or scrap material was left for me to get rid of. I had a small concern on 1 aspect of the job, & Steve Sr. went out the very next day, found the problem (small detail) & fixed it. He called me that afternoon, explained what he had done, & assured me it was fixed to my satisfaction.

II  might add that "Hise Roofing" was not the lowest bid I received, but I did my homework, & was impressed in the manner in which the estimate, materials to be used, & the explanation of the extended warranty would work. I would highly recommend Steve Hise & company for your roofing needs.

   The entire job was performed professionally and great care was taken to finish the in a timely manner. The work is completed with his employees, not subcontracted to outside workers. They stay on top of the process to ensure the work is completed without any problems or delays. We could not have been happier with the results or the workers who did the job. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anybody.

I had received several estimates from Contractor?s that were recommended on Angies List.  All were in a fairly close
price range. Steve Hise came out and went over the full process, explained his product and listened to my needs.    I ended
up deciding to go with the Owens Corning product that Steve offered.   He gave me an accurate estimate as to when he could have his crew start the job.   They showed up exactly when they said they would and finished up in just a few days.   This roofing crew was very professional and did an excellent job from beginning to end for us.  They put on a beautiful roof and did a very thorough clean-up afterwards.  I give Hise Roofing an excellent recommendation.

The work was done quickly and efficiently.  The roofers were always courteous and pleasant  yet very professional.  They cleaned up all debris at the end of each day and when roof was completed did an excellent job of total clean up!  A supervisor from Hise Roofing came often and asked if we were pleased with the work being done.  Once the roof was completed an owner came by, got on the roof and did a complete inspection.  He assured us that if we had any questions or concerns, to call and he would come out to take care of any problem.  We are very pleased with the look and of course everyone associated with Hise Roofing!  This same company installed a new roof on our parents home in Spring Hill, Fl with the same satisfactory results.   We would recommend them without hesitation.

We had them come out and give us an estimate.  I appreciated the time Mr. Hise took explaining things and answering questions, and was not pushy at all. They were our 3rd estimate and I decided to contract with them to do the roof. The original start date was to be 6 weeks later, but they called and rescheduled as they were able to start it 4 weeks later. It took just a couple days and they kept the area clean and were all well mannered.

The Hise team was punctual and pleasant. The quality of the shingle was high with various shades of individual shingles that seems to us to provide a more interesting and appealing view from the street. The team appeared very careful with the adherence of the shingles and spacing of the nails to maximize roof protection and to prevent damage from storms. The clean-up was good. We are quite pleased with their work and the product.

I purchased the house in Oct of 2013 from a Disabled Veteran who had lived here for years. The roof was put on in 2004 by AAA roofing and the flashing around the chimney leaked until one truss and two sheets of plywood underneath had to be replaced because of rot. I called several roofing companies but was not satisfied with the professionalism of the people sent out to give me an estimate. I called HIse Roofing, Father and son came out to look at the roof, were very professional and courteous, they also gave me an estimate within my budget. They set a date and made all repairs in one day, they cleaned up every piece of material and left the area clean. I would use Hise Roofing again when I need any roofing repairs. They are a very busy company so expect to make an appointment in advance.
