On May 31 2022 I reached out to Rachel Vazquez via phone. Rachel is the Senior Property Manager for Great American Realty. We set a property preview date and time for June 3rd. Rachel and I came to an agreement on the terms of the rental agreement. I agreed to email Rachel the lease agreement I was presently using. She was going to review and respond back with any suggestions...On June 6th the lease agreement was emailed to [email protected]. On June 7th I once again reached out to Rachel for feedback on the lease agreement. Her response I have not had time to review the lease agreement. As of today June 18 I have heard only CRICKETS from the Senior Property Manager for Great American Realty.

I am currently a tenant of GAR I want to start by saying they really are a good place to go especially when it your first place the process was very quick and wasn't dragged out or delayed they are organized and work diligently to keep everyone happy we had a few things that needed a little attention and the lady's got everything fixed promptly couldn't ask for better

The process of buying a house in a state where you currently are not residing is quite stressful however, Dawn and her office were so responsive and so very helpful. I think I called them on a daily basis for one reason or another and I always had a response from them. I never felt ignored nor did I ever feel like I was being a pain. I was able to come to FL on Memorial Day weekend last year to look at houses and Dawn made a point to be free on that weekend and meet me. We spent a lot of time looking at houses and I not once felt rushed. I would recommend her and her office to anyone!

Hired Great American Realty and Investments to manage my property. Biggest mistake I have made in Florida. From selection of the tenant, communications and responsiveness to owner and tenants concerns, repairs, compliance with contract, payments and official paperwork submissions, this company provides substandard services, - Not a single member of the staff performed competently. Do not know how or why they remain in business.

"In response to this slanderous and inaccurate posting from this owner, I, as Broker of this company will only respond by saying this owner is unrealistic in her expectations of what a tenant is and is not responsible for. She is dishonest and tried to blame a tenant for damages to the house that were present before the tenant took possession of the house. She harassed the tenants bordering on stalking and abuse. Tenants were distraught over the continuous harassment of this owner. This was the one and only time this company worked with this owner and immediately discontinued the association as soon as the tenant moved from the house. Anyone wishing for further proof, explanation or evidence of the completely slanderous post may contact me personally at my office, 352-637-3800. I will end by saying that due to the absolute blatant untruths in this post and the attempt by the Ms. [Member Name Removed] to cause damage to this company based on this libelous post, we have sent all on to our attorney for a possible defamation of character lawsuit against this unstable person."

It is not going well. When our stove quit heating up it was a friday- I  called that afternoon and left a message. I had to call again before a repairman was sent out the following week. The microwave went out and it took almost five weeks for them to replace it, the stand up freezer in the pantry never got cold enough to put frozen food in it and they still haven't replaced it and are now telling us it is not a necessity and they are not going to replace it,(they even went so far as insinuating we broke it)  the dishwasher has not worked properly since we moved in and finally was replaced about two weeks ago. It is a Whirlpool - one of those new economy models and doesn't heat up properly, the repairman says that is just how the new ones work and unless they return it for a different one too bad that is just the way it is. They didn't want to even send the repairman to look at it (they told me I probably didn't know how to use it properly) and since it doesn't show a computer code that means nothing is wrong with it. But while the repairman was here - he opened it on every cycle and was able to touch the bar on the bottom that is suppose to heat everything up with his bare had.  I am back to hand washing my dishes.
The windows have not been fixed.
When we moved in there was a stain on the ceiling over the pool and we were told that there had been a previous leak but it had been fixed. We notified Great American on September 22, 2013 that it was leaking in that same spot. It has not been fixed yet- but there are suppose to be people coming in November.
During the last few weeks we have been lied to and put off. I asked to speak to the owner of Great American - DAWN REGAN but either she never got the message or she sees no reason to call back.  There are many more details and headaches but I tried to condense--- and all of this has gone wrong in less than six months.

Since my last review there has been a kitchen fire in the house. This happened on the Tuesday before thanksgiving. There is an ongoing investigation as to what caused the fire.  The leasing agency basically has told us the house will not be repaired for the next three to four months- not cause of the fire but the previous roofing issue- and so we should find a new place to live. They do not have anything available and it is not there problem. My husband was in the hospital for three days after putting out the fire and they did not even ask how he was. We asked about our deposit and they said they would have to talk to their lawyers. Again today I asked if we did a walk though on the 20th- could they have our deposit ready so we would have it to get another house. WE are still staying with neighbors. I was informed that they don't do walk -thru with the tenants but if the walk thru meets their criteria they will return the deposit within 30 days. 
They are blaming us for the investigation because we did not have the stove on and told the investigators this and so there is a deeper investigation going on.
