We have used Excel Automotive since January 2009. Kelly takes care of both of our cars. He is an excellent mechanic and a totally honest, trustworthy man. You can believe what he tells you, and his prices are fair. A single woman will absolutely be treated with the same respect he would show to a male mechanical engineer. We have not asked him to swap out engines or transmissions, but there are few other services he has not performed on our cars. We never have had a problem and do not expect any in the future.
With respect to the recent service, Toyota is known for installing hatch releases on Siennas and Priuses that melt like licorice and make a terrible mess; and Toyota makes it difficult to change out the switch. It requires the removal of three interior pieces just to get to the electrical connection. He did it without damaging anything and the car was good to go in an hour. We had purchased the switch from the Toyota dealership in Crystal River and brought it with us for installation.

Kelly can fix most anything on the two vehicles I have. What I like about him is that he makes repairs when possible rather than purchasing new parts when they are not necessary. Have been dealing with him for about 5 years I find him honest and punctual. Has my vehicles ready as promised.

My father had recently had work done on his car at Excel and was very happy with the work done as well as the price.
I was able to get an appointment for the next day and though the owner Kelly works alone, he was able to complete the work on my car right away (much quicker than the local Ford dealer I might add) and I was quickly on my way.

Excel Auto and Kelly as it's owner have been my mechanic for 5 years. I make an appointment to come in and he is right there ready to do an oil change or repair. He quotes me a price and tries to find the best part for the money I can afford right there in front of me. I will continue to go to Excel for all my service and repair needs. I believe he is priced very reasonably
