The pricing was competitive.  They were well organized.  They kept the site clean and dust free.  They were very pleasant people that came to do the work.  The job was well done.

They picked up the carpet and padding we ordered from a home improvement chain store, and delivered it to our residence and installed it. They arrived on time as agreed. They performed all agreed upon labor for the agreed upon price. The work was completed in the timeframe agreed upon. They replaced tack strips where needed, and added additional strips where needed. The quality of the work (seams, carpet-tile boundaries, and carpet-wall boundaries) was excellent. It was very clear that Tony is a well-seasoned expert. They even brought and used a power stretcher. They cleaned up after themselves very well. They were at all times careful not to ding walls or damage our belongings. They brought professional grade furniture dollies to move our heavy furniture. They also performed some additional unplanned work (trimming the bottom of our doors because our new, thicker pile carpet was rubbing up against the bottom of the door). The charge for the additional work was fair and reasonable. Note that they don't sell carpet, per se. They are professional installers of flooring materials who will install carpet from wherever you prefer to purchase it. However, Tony of Brevard Flooring Services has relationships with local carpet sales representatives (both wholesale and retail). With his referral, you can visit a huge wholesale warehouse here in Melbourne where you will find a great selection of carpet and pad at a significant discount. (They sell other flooring products as well.) We did visit this warehouse, but my wife fell in love with a specific pattern from a home improvement chain, and she really wanted that specific pattern. We did get a competing quote for a very similar carpet from this wholesale warehouse, and it soundly beat the home improvement chain price. (But again, my wife's heart was set on the pattern from the home improvement chain so that was what we bought). Brevard Flooring Services specializes in carpet and tile and any flooring. We used only their carpet (and handyman) services. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would, without any hesitation, use them again. We highly recommend them to anyone who needs carpet work of any kind.
