They did a great job and were very punctual and professional. I couldn't ask for any more!!!

Where to begin? Best to just lay out the facts:

• Job started 2 weeks later than scheduled so material sat in the driveway, blocking it for 2 weeks.
• When the dumpster came, the workers picked up the panels and threw them on the lawn. They put HUGE scratches in about 30/40% of them. JVR installed MANY scratched panels. With a red roof, scratches are very noticeable.
• During the work, metal shards rained down continuously, with small children around. CONTINUOUSLY reminding JVR to clean up. VERY DANGEROUS and unprofessional. Got 4 flat tires to date and had to pick up all the small pieces myself.
• The Guatemalan work crew consisted of 1 experienced man, 1 with 8 months and 1 helper and a US foreman. The experienced guy quit after 1 week, leaving 1 man with 8 months experience and a helper to install the entire roof. The process took about 2 months to complete, and JVR NEVER completed the punch list items. The foreman rarely went on the roof. James, the owner, went on ONE TIME to inspect at the end.
• They never completed the punchlist and the panels are not installed correctly! They sent the final invoice, with 2 pending LIENS against the house. One was cleared, but they never paid one supplied (Gulf Coast) and there is now a LIEN for 5800 against my house. Florida homeowners are responsible, I've found out. I could not pay my final amount to JRV since he never got the lien waiver

Unprofessional, untimely, poor quality, poor supervision of the Guatemalan workers.
I can't say it more strongly: DO NOT USE THIS CONTRACTOR

The crew worked very hard and answered all of our questions while the roof was being replaced. They were courteous, polite and they cleaned up each day as well as when the job was finished. The roof was completed in the time they said it would be and there were no hidden charges.

I interviewed several roofers and JVR was the most professional during both the interview and proposal processes. When the actual work began, they displayed the same professionalism. Their work ethic surpasses most trades people with whom I've dealt. There were glitches with the supplier providing materials timely, and there was an issue with a sub-contractor, but JVR acted swiftly and appropriately to rectify both situations. Their pricing was competitive, but their delivery far exceeded my expectations.

I had my roof reroofed by JVR. They did an excellent job and was very punctual. They showed up on time every morning and worked until late hours sometimes. They were fully booked, but at least made sure to come immediately, remove the old shingles, and dry our roof in so that water would stop leaking until they were able to come and roof it. The roofing went very fast and was done very professionally. There was only a small leak in the back porch due to a bad supply of roll flat roofing and when they were called and informed about it they were here the very next day to fix it! Their price was also excellent. I normally wouldn't go with the lowest estimate where I was getting some as high as $5k more, I just had a good feeling about them.
