These "Computer Experts" could not or CHOOSE not to tell me that the problem with my laptop was my power supply and not the actual laptop. So they basically charged me $129.00 for charging my laptop battery! When I picked up my laptop the General Manager told me we opened up the back of the laptop and disconnected everything and then reconnected it again and poof it worked! He said he was not sure why but it works now! When I got home the laptop worked until it needed to be charged. I plugged it in to charge and came back later, it would not turn on AGAIN! I called them right away and was told that the first power supply they had tried (mine) would not work so they went and got a different power supply which did work and everything was fine. They asked me to bring it in again! I decided to try a brand new power supply first and GUESS WHAT HAPPENED? The laptop now charges and turns on! I, an almost 60 yr old lady, figured out the issue myself, I called them and told them and they DENIED, DENIED, DENIED and then they were belligerent and extremely rude! They refused to provide even the bare minimum of Customer Service! If I could give them zero stars I would!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everything went very well.  I brought the computer to their store on a Tuesday.  They evaluated the computer and called me on Wednesday with the problem and I gave the go ahead to fix it.  I picked it up on Thursday.

The next day, neither my TV nor my computer would work. I went into the store and the technician said it must be my TV and told me to call my cable provider, Bright House. I called my cable provider who told me that the TV would not work using the connection he had made and where I should instead be plugging it in. I did, and the TV then functioned again. However, the computer would not. So, back to the store and the technician agreed to make a "house call" and did and pronounced my computer was too old to carry this new installation, probably a hard drive problem, and offered to have me come in and buy a new computer at Data Doctors. I said I'd think about it. I began shopping online and then realized that the NetGear wireless router they sold me for $79 was available at www.amazon.com for $39.95; the NetGear Powerline Ethernet Adapter Kit Data Doctors charged me $199 for was also available from amazon for $114.99. The "mark-ups" at Data Doctors were 99% & 73% over amazon's prices on these two items so I decided I would NOT be buying a new computer from them. In addition, I was charged a $35 "trip charge" even though my apartment is less than one mile from their store, and $149.00 for a one-hour service call, which, in fact, resulted in a wrong connection that I had to get Bright House to tell me how to fix.
