 + -1 moreThis is a true neighborhood hardware store, everyone is so knowledgable and helpful. Brought in cranky old sprinkler pump in for evaluation expecting to need to replace the unit. Left the unit with the store and called back informing me that the pump and motor could be refurbished (bushings, seals, etc.). Units been running great (it is now May).

Description of Work: This location gives free delivery on Mulch. I Called in an order for 10 bags of mulch as wall a few others I was told the delivery would be done by the end of the day. One hour later a gentlemen made the delivery. He asked me to sign a receipt.I then tried to hand the gentlemen a $5 tip. He said he could not take it. I asked him why not. He replied I am the owner of Ace Hardware Palm Harbor .At this point I advised Dave that I had a recent problem with the application of one of his i paints. I told Dave that my painter charged me an additional $100.00 since he had to apply multiply coats which was not contemplated when gave me the original estimate. Without hesitation Dave asked to come to his store and he would give me a $100 store credit. He did not have to do this.. I was very impressed in the way Dave handled. Dave is a Class Act and a gentlemen. Home Depot and Lowes may have a larger inventory of items and most people look at Ace as a little Hardware store That.s incorrect. I would suggest visiting Ace Hardware of Palm Harbor.
