TONY OGLIALORO PROPERTY MAINTENANCE

Tony was suggested by a friend. He came over and took measurements. We ordered our cabinets from viewing a sight he was working on, we liked the same type of cabinets.We ordered our counter tops from Tony. Everything was going well in the beginning, we truly thought we found something in Florida that has been so hard to come by a master craftsman, someone who loved and took pride in his work and did a good job for his customers. The job took 3 days to complete, well... sort of. The job is STILL not complete and it's months later. You see, Tony never finished one last part of our job, the tiling for the back splash. Here's what happened, after the major work was done, he was scheduled to come over to start the tiling after we purchased our tile choice. We scheduled Tony to come by and start the project on May 3. He called up and claimed an injury and can he reschedule for 3 days later. We said sure and "feel better". Three days later came and went, he never called us and we were waiting around for him. We started calling him and leaving messages and never received a call back. We thought something bad happened to him like he was in the hospital because this wasn't like him, or so we thought. Weeks go by, no word from him, no call back. Our friend who suggested him gets angry and tries to track him down and initially has the same problem. Finally, he returns our friend's phone calls and informs him he will stop by our house to do the tiling. He comes by, claims he was in the bed for 3 weeks and he wasn't answering phone calls, however he was so busy doing other jobs around the area. He "inspected" our kitchen for the future tile work. He said he would call or come by on Saturday right before Memorial Day, then he would either start work on Memorial Day or finish up on Memorial Day. I informed him we were very busy and I would ,like him to start work on Saturday. I want my kitchen done. I have been waiting now for weeks and I have exposed outlets and wiring and 3 little children in my house. Tony never calls, nor shows up on Saturday nor on Monday. Finally, we call from another number that is unknown to him and he answers his phone and we inform him that his services are no longer required. He claims it's all a big misunderstanding on my part about the scheduling however this is a load of bunk. Now, I must get back and finish up my tiling job that we are completing ourselves.
