Exterior House Paint. Sanabac Inc – Owner David Vincent Cababas. The staff (one guy for a 4k sq ft home) shows to power wash. Shows up 10:30, with power washer, no ladders, no gasoline, and had to run errands. I ended up giving him the gas just to get started, and 2 ladders, to use. He was supposed to also caulk, but no caulk. Several days later, 2 guys come, but the second guy was not part of Sanabac, and Sanabac said, some times they call a friend to help! What you don’t know these people? Are they Insured? Are they safe, are the aliens? Then they take advantage of just entering your using your rest room without approval. Real Long Story Short, they were extremely sloppy, slow, showed up mostly at 10:00, by the time they setup, it was time for lunch, for 90 mins. Never prepared, used my tools, my drill, they purchased the wrong paint, denied it, till I pointed it out, and another day of wasted to exchange it. Paint was in 5 Gal pales, the painter used a fallen tree branch to stir it, (no kidding) and left it on the grass in different places whenever used. Pouring paint from the 5 Gal in to the sprayer, spills, caused a lawn mess of dried paint. When I confronted Dave, said he cares, but simply does not care, and got lip service, I’ll talk to them. You can see workers frustration, because as they said, Dave, should be, but does not supply the protective materials, it's always about money. What a disaster. New plants on the east side, were covered in paint and several crushed by worker negligence. Front and side patio floor tiles got, over sprayed, again not covered or cleaned, they stored paint and equipment on my Lanai, and my garage and didn’t clean the dropped paint, cleaned brushes in grass left paint mess. They were supposed to dig a several inch trench around the home to paint, never happened. Again, I informed Dave, and all I got was lip service. Instead of spraying or rolling the Lanai doors like done previously, they were brushed, showing horrible brush lines. Oh BTW the Lanai and front & Side Porch ceiling did not get painted. The East side was NOT Prepped Properly, that once painted, it paled of like a sunburn back. Instead of scrapping the lose areas, they resprayed over it, the next day It paled again. I told them to Scrap, Scrap, Scrap the loose pieces, lazy crew. The West side, they said it was painted, but never painted. After analysis, it was never painted, and also had to be prep and same issues as the East side. What a disaster. A promised estimate of 1 week, turned out to be over 6 weeks, constant turnover. Dave would say, oh this guy is real good, and cheap. They sprayed house, with no protective drop cloths, got paint on multiple areas of a new 4 yo roof, both A/C, pool equipment, cage, glass windows, garage floor, Lanai pavers, just a total mess, that they never cleaned up. I swear these people were just handed a brush / sprayer / caulk gun. One painter was actually afraid of the sprayer ! Well the entire crew, abandoned him, so I’m sure it will re-start over with someone else. A word of caution, Sanabac request 50% up front and when nearly completed he wants the balance. A word of advise don’t pay final payment until you are completely happy, he’ll take off. Crew consists of 1, then a 2nd and 3rd hire, was like a revolving door, you never knew who would show, or what time. I was never informed that a worker he hired is drug dependent, was on site and in my house. You had to watch them like a hawk. You have to watch their every move, lazy, non proactive, only reactive when you tell them something, not one but many times. Totally unreliable, Mgmt may or may not show up, and only shows to get money and prefers cash. Further analysis revealed he was sued in court before, in addition to other charges. BTW 6 months later, their mess left behind is still not cleaned up, after all the promises.
