The retaining wall was not built high enough so now the paver walk outside of the pool is moving toward the retaining wall and the pavers are moving apart because the retaining wall is lower. Apparently the retaining wall blocks were not filled with gravel or what ever because my garden dirt within keeps disappearing. They left my yard a mess, cost me $600.00 to have it repaired with new sod and labor. Note they say they are not responsible for lawn damage on their contract?? I have learned, never take the lowest bid out of 3! The owner was here that evening to get his check, so he should have noticed this was not right! To bad, nice guy, foreign workers who didn't know what they were doing.
"The wall was built to the height you asked for so you could stand comfortably in front of it to plant your vegetables, your pavers were a mess and falling apart before we even started work(I have pictures), when in fact we even did some repairs on your pavers when we were doing the wall. You were told as you say in your review that we will be bringing in heavy equipment to deliver the retaining wall blocks and to remove the old RxR ties and your grass would get tore up. If there was a problem all you had to do was give us a call so we could come up with a resolution."
Chad arrived on time as promised, gave us the estimate on-site and was very professional and knowledgeable. We had an understandable minor problem getting a date set for the job due to an illness in his family. However, the job was satisfactorily completed by Brett and Keanu eight calendar days after the estimate was given. Both men doing the installation were pleasant and friendly and gladly answered all my questions pertaining to the process, material used, etc. I will be using them again in 3-4 years when it will be time to re-seal the pavers again. Overall I highly recommend this company.
Pristine did an excellent job repairing and extending our driveway. We made several changes during the project and Chad was extremely fair with the cost and still maintained a very reasonable schedule. I would highly recommend Pristine Pavers as this is the third time we have used them and we are a third time happy customer.
"I remember this job very well and it was scheduled and started on time, this I do know because you wanted the job started when you got back in town from your vacation. As far as sending the guys to do the work blind is not correct because I was there and did the removal of the existing driveway my self and was there when the guys showed up to do the install. Also I was on site periodically throughout the project to ensure the job was getting done on time and correctly. I've tried calling multiple times as customer still has a balance with us ($600.00)."
"Thank you for your business. I apologize for the project taking longer than expected but we started the job on a Friday and ran short on one of the paver shapes, we were not able to get the remaining pieces till Monday as the paver plant is not open on the weekend. We would never start and then stop work for a few days on a project unless we run into a situation like this."
