MELADY ROOFING

at first it looked like a great team that was starting of on a Monday with 4 guys . Tuesday only 2 showed up and that seemed the size of the team . Sky lights where the wrong size and just forced in , needlles to say problems . after the job was done ( TOOk 10 days to complete !!!! ) Owens corning sent and quot; their and quot; inspectors what a joke , they never even went on the roof !!!! 4 weeks after completion leaks at the skylight . Keith Melady ( owner of the roofing cont. ) showed up and and quot; fixed it ) Now it leaks again . No response from sears after repeated calls . . At this point it seems that we are going to court over this . had 1 other contractor out . he told us it was done poorly , soft spots around the skylights (leaks/rotting wood ) and buckled drip edges also a couple more soft spots where found ( not all the wood replaced ??? ) 2 lessons NEVER HIRE THIS JOKE OF A CONTRACTOR , AND NEVER USE SEARS HOME IMPROVEMENT , as soon they have your money youre s... out of luck . 30 year warranty ??? what a joke

We were able to choose Energy Star level 30 year shingles and we really liked that! Would recommend. They did my Mother in Law's roof 9 years ago and she has been very pleased with it. Our job took 3 days because of all the wood needing replaced, I believe it was 10 boards. We saw how damaged they were from all the years of weather and sun abuse the roof had taken. I recommend replacing a roof every 20 to 25 years as we waited too long and sprung a leak in our home. We also liked that they gave us a roofing certification form as well as photos of the job as needed by your insurance company to prove the work was done correctly

They were the lowest price. They did a very professinoal job and I'm very happy with the work that they did. I will be using them again to reroof my other home.

they did an excellent job. Very professional and the end result was great. I am very skeptical of contractor's normally, however this company did a great job and I would definatly recommend them.
