Received estimate. Owner and helper always arrived on time. They were very professional, patient with other contractor's and worked according to my schedule. They cleaned up after themselves and I was very satisfied with the work they did. I would recommend them.

Mike was good about calling back initially to discuss details of job. Gave estimate over the phone, which later ended up being poor choice. Mike said the company was backed up, and I should call back in about a week. I did follow up, and Mike eventually committed to come do the work on 4/16/12. As previously stated, he had given estimate over the phone. Once here, he wanted to put new power wall switch above my existing wall switch. I thought that would look ridiculous, and I asked what other options we had. He said he didn't bring other materials. After discussing further he stated he would check on the truck to see if he had correct materials for a 2 gang box. He did have it, but said the price would go up $50. 2 workers on the job. Worked quietly and efficiently. Prepped area with drop cloths to catch drywall and insulation droppings. Cleaned up with vaccuum, which I appreciated. One of the rooms had wall damage where Mike cut out for gang box. He said the drywall crumbled a little when he prepared the site for the switch. He said I'd need to patch and paint. I can't blame him for the damage - drywall can be brittle - but it seemed unprofessional to leave a job with extra damage for the homeowner to fix. Luckily, I was able to purchase a jumbo wallplate to cover the damage. Overall, they performed the work I requested, but Mike isn't exactly overly friendly. From first call to work completion was over 2 weeks. Would be better to give estimate in person to see the job and be prepared.

We always try to avoid giving estimates via phone but sometimes our customers insist on a "ballpark" figure so they can "shop" other contractors for the best price. Unfortunately this does create some confusion when we arrive and more work than anticipated is required to do the job properly and to the customer's approval. They have been wonderful and very professional. They were really good and I did check them out on Angie's list as well. They are coming back to do some electric work in my kitchen. There was no dislikes at all and what I liked about them was they said they would be here at 8.30 in the morning and they were here twenty minutes after eight. They were dressed in uniform and the shirt had their name on it. They were very polite and very accommodating. I have nothing bad to say, and I really would recommend them highly.

He was fairly prompt to come out and do the work. I did a little bit of comparison shopping for the work and his price was reasonable. I was pleased with the work that he did.

He went on vacation right after he gave me the estimate so I could not get the work done right away but he did inform me of this beforehand and overall things went well. He stuck to the estimate, was easy to get a hold of and showed up on time. He was knowledgeable about his work and wanted to make sure everything was done correctly.

Chuck quickly responded to my call. I explained we were in a 35 year old house with original panel, which was popping regularly. We scheduled a date for him to inspect and determine our needs. Chuck was very prompt and thorough and explained that I may want a 3rd party to dig the 100 foot ditch due to cost savings. I called him the day before we were scheduled that I needed them to dig the ditch, as I couldn't get anyone else so quickly. He and Joe arrived on schedule, were very thorough, explained things I needed to know, put up with our crazy jack russel and cleaned up after themselves each day. I would highly recommend Chuck and HD for any electric work one might have. I deal with many contractors on 1 M plus jobs on a daily basis and I must say, HD impressed me with their professionalism, courtesy and consideration of my time.
