BEWARE!!! They came in June 2018 to do maintenance on the AC unit. After the tech finished he explained that they ended up servicing both units even though we were just looking to replace one of them. He explained that they would take off the maint. for that one from the cost of the new unit. I didn't argue this point as I felt sorry for guy who was obviously not physically fit for this job, and looked like he might have a heart attack. The unit there were not supposed to do maint. on was working worse after they left, and the other stopped working completely. I called them at 6:30 PM to report it and left a voice mail. They returned my call the next morning. My boyfriend called, and they agreed to come out and fix it. The repair man showed up the next day without a call prior. He proceeded to explain how they messed up the unit by dropping the temperature down to 62 and leaving it there, then told me I would have to pay to have it fixed, but they would take it off of my bill if I bought a new unit from them. I told him that isn't what we were told, and that I needed to call my boyfriend. He said he would call his manager, and then he just left without saying anything.

I like them; that's why I kept using them. The work has always been done on time and on budget, and the quality was very good. I've never had a problem with their work and I've never had to do a call-back.

I've used them for a number of years. I actually got a couple of other prices and they were the most competitive.

Mike arrives on time and is cheerful and knows everything about A/C units to keep them working in peak performance. I've used him several times. Always great. I've had other companies lie to me about needing "more" parts or service to get more money. These guys are really honest!

He does a good job. I don't have to call him back. He only comes once a year. He is very personable and the prices are always right.

I came to know about them through another store. They took out the old unit and replaced it with a new one. They did it in one day. I liked that.

The duct check pressure was great because it identified the areas to be addressed: - pool sliding door and pool bath door not sealed completely and letting in air - air return inside the house that require having some bedrooms doors left open for more efficiency - air leaks around the recessed lighting Roger was great because as he was doing the test he took the time to explain what he was finding and how to address issues encountered. Then he went in the attic. Since we are in winter the temperature was ideal. I cannot imagine what it must be for him when it's 90oF outside, 130oF in the attic. He worked carefully, making sure to go over/under/across all the beams, wires, ducts and other obstacle course up there. Usually for Progress Energy minimal mandated repairs the technician would only have applied mastic to fix any leaks but I asked for extra preventive maintenance on all duct collars considering the duct tape was starting to curl. The only vents Roger could not apply mastic to were difficult to reach by the fireplace over the pool bathroom and back guest bedroom. But he was meticulous about all others, even walking back to the furthest points to check on his mastic work once done. This extra $150 was really worth it considering the ducts are now sealed properly and will stay so, saving me money on the utility bill. The $30 duct check test is also valuable as it pinpoints the areas to look into. All in all, it's great work at a reasonable price.

His quote was a lot less than most companies I had called. He was also able to come out the next day and get the work done. He also charged us less once he realized the type of work that needed to be performed.

THIS COMPANY WAS REFERRED TO ME FROM PROGRESS ENERGY. PROGRESS ENERGY PAID THE COMPANY AN ADDITIONAL 100.00 DOLLARS FOR THE NEEDED WORK AS PART OF THEIR ENERGY PROGRAM. SO THE TRUE BILLING ON THE REPAIR IS 250.00 DOLLARS. THE ONLY DRAWBACK TO THE WORK WAS THAT THE FINISHED JOB LEFT THE AREA TO ACCESS THE AIR HANDLER COVERED WITH INSULATION AND IT IS RATHER UNATTRACTIVE EXPOSED COVERING. I DON'T KNOW ENOUGH ABOUT THIS WORK TO KNOW IF THIS IS THE BEST I MIGHT HOPE FOR.
