Not reliable, too many excuses why did not show up, does not clean up after himself, Treats your house like a construction site that is no where finished. States did this and this for you meanwhile not doing what hired for. A very bad experience with him and his company. I would not recommend Charles.

Replaced porch ceiling with beadboard painted and repaired stucco in car port Charlie was able to match the paint very well very nice job and very happy with the service I received. I would recommend his service and would hire him again.

Charles was very polite and also prompt. He did an exceptional job repairing and replaing my water stained ceiling to new. I would definitely hire him again and recomend him highly.

wanted my popcorn ceiling removed, which he said he could do...but he also said it couldn't be left bare, it needed another texture on it. i asked that it just be skim coated he said he didn't advise that. he suggested another treatment, and showed me a sample. it was a flat to the ceiling finish, and could be painted over when dry the next day. he stated that everyone that had it done was satisfied. after the job was completed i was very dissatisfied. the finish was uneven with many rough areas. when he returned my call..he said he broke 3 ribs and couldn't come back until the next week. when he came back 3 days later, he made some repairs, but had no problem moving his arms. he said he would come back again if there was still a problem..well there were many areas, but he thought they were fine. my husband who is 78 and has only one leg has been trying to fix the rough spots, but it's too difficult. i'll have to get another company...after paying Ellingham and his ceiling finisher to do a crappy job at a high price. and don't expect him to be on time..he wasn't... and didn't ever call to say he was delayed.

He was willing to work with me and my budget.

Charles took a very neglected house with walls and ceilings that needed much repair, in only 2 1/2 days all the walls had been refinished and retextured. It looks like an entirely different house!! Mr. Elljngham was on time for his appointment, gave me a price and that’s exactly what I paid. I was very impressed to find a copy of his business insurance in my email before work began. Charles is very trustworthy, I gave him a key to the house with no worry. He has a very pleasant personality, making it easy to speak with him. He grew up in this business and has great references! We have six houses and we are very excited to finally have an amazing professional to add to our list. Thank you HomeAdvisor, Inc. for this perfect match!

Of the two companies you recommended Ellingham was the only reasonable one. The other business was way out of line with their estimate.
