I left a 5 star review on 4/29/2025 for repair work on my freezer. The work was done quickly and was assured that the issued was resolved. A day later, the issue returned and I quickly contacted Jose Herrera to come back and resolve the issue. He stated he would and gave me a time. Since then he has ghosted me and has not contacted me at all. I had to get another company to come out and fix the issue. Total cost of fake repair was 480 dollars. Do not use Dadeappliance at all. Beware

Was contacted, by text, immediately after submitting request. Came within 2 days of request and assessed what was needed. Paid for parts and labor up front by choice but was given option to pay half up front. He had to order parts needed and responded almost immediately when inquired of status. He and his son (presumably) came back a week later with part and very quickly repaired it. Works great. I would definitely contact them again for similar repair. Always support local independent businesses

I hired Jose based on very positive reviews from Angie's List. Boy, what a let down. Aside from Jose's positive attitude, he did an extremely poor job of installing the MW oven. He didn't use a template, made NO measurements whatsoever, proceeded to drill the holes in the cabinet bottom from which the M/W hangs by eyeballing it. Consequently he got the initial holes wrong with a bit that was too small, then proceeded to try to make the holes bigger by moving the too-small bit in a circular movement instead of getting a larger drill which he indicated he had in his truck. As a result the bolts used for hanging the M/V went through the cabinet bottom at an angle instead of perpendicular to the M/V. He also neglected to either use toggle bolts or to find a stud for screwing the bottom frame to the wall on which the M/V hangs during installing after as part of the support mechanism. He just drilled 2 screws right into the drywall which provides a very flimsy support and is not what is called for in the mounting instructions.. It was a total disaster. I do not recommend this guy at all.

Our refrigerator completed stopped functioning on Christmas Eve. Jose responded very quickly to our request. We called him at 9am on Christmas Eve and he said he would be able to come by at 12noon. He arrived on time as scheduled; he even called around 11:45 to confirm that he will arrive at noon. He efficiently diagnosed the problem, had all parts on hand and fixed it. He was very nice and courteous. We are very very pleased with his responsiveness and quality of work. We will definitely call on him again should the need arise.

We went on Angies and through the screens describing our problem. Within it seemed like a second the phone rang with Jose. He said he would come in about an hour, and did just that. He looked at the job and gave us a price. We said go and it was done. Quick and easy for him. We intend to keep his information in case we ever need anything in the future. Good job at a fair price.

Motor was bad, it had to be replaced, he arrived at the time he said and was very punctual. Yes if I need more appliance work done I'll call him.

He told me he couldn't do anything, to buy a new washer, and charged me $85 for a service call. I hired someone else who fixed it, and it lasted a while longer.

Jose Herrera returned my Angie's List and Home Advisor service requests made on Christmas weekend. The work was unscheduled but his post-call arrival was prompt, diagnosis and quote were rapid, and repair was concluded in about an hour. Job required replacement of internal fuse and voltage regulator plus circuit and operational testing. Microwave oven was up and running when Jose left, and I had a big smile! ¡Muchísimas gracias, José! We will call him for our next electrical or appliance job!
