Next, we found AAA Electrical on CraigsList. William runs this small business and he first came to give us an estimate. He was very thorough and immediately, we knew that he was extremely qualified at this job. We told him we wanted everything done to code and he knew every little detail of electrical code and pointed out all the things we would need to consider before beginning work.
One other great quality of William's service is that he even had great ideas of where lighting should go, where switches should go, etc. He had loads of practical experience and we felt very comfortable with his recommendations.
Next, he gave us the estimate. It was not the lowest but it was not the highest at all. His pricing was quite fair in comparison to other estimates that we got.
After we agreed to move forward, we were amazed at his punctuality. He showed up at 8am sharp each of the 2 days he was here doing work. They left at around 6pm after working virtually non-stop to get all the work done. Everything was done to perfection. Light fixtures, junction boxes, etc... everything was perfectly lined up, not crooked like a lot of people do work.
We ended up paying a little bit more than anticipated because we threw a few extra items at them to do, but again, they were very fair and offered lots of alternatives to save money. They weren't trying to soak us by doing everything the most expensive way, they would offer options with each item and explain the pros/cons of saving the money versus spending a little extra.
Also, they were ALL about SAFETY. They took great care to ensure the safety of our electrical work and genuinely cared about our home and us as people. Very impressive.
Finally, it's very rare that I post reviews like this. But these guys totally deserved it and I will ONLY use these guys going forward for any electrical needs. Very very impressed with their work and I'm sure you'll be happy with them too if you give them a shot.
