Both times this has happened they came right out. It is very easy to get a hold of them on the phone to schedule. They use a vacuum on the outside to clear the clogged return. They showed us how we would do this in the future, so that we wouldn't have to pay for a service call. He has been my refrigeration guy since 1995. Over the years I have not needed them that much, but when I do need them they are there. It is a smaller business, and is run by a father/son.

I have been using Triple S Refrigeration for a few years now to service the old A/C that came with the house when we bought it in 2008. I like Bob. He is very straight forward and doesn't try to sell you more than you need. A couple summers ago our ac unit started to act up. It just wasn't able to keep the house very cool. Bob came out a couple of times and topped us off, but told us we probably had a leak, but he wasn't sure where and didn't think it was worth the money to try to find out considering how old the unit was. He offered to sell us one, but said he'd be out of town for a while and he wouldn't be offended if we decided to replace it through someone else. I love how low-key he is. So we tried getting a few estimates, but it was July and everyone was swamped. Some companies just refused to come out if we didn't commit to buying from them, another quoted us $10,000+ for a new unit, others just kept canceling for other emergencies. Eventually the house got hot again, so we called Bob. He was still out of town, but he sent his son to top off the coolant and his son found our leak! He fixed it the same day and the ac worked fine for another 13 months before the outside unit very loudly and suddenly ate itself to death. So we called Bob, ordered an energy efficient unit for a lot less than I thought (plus Bob told us about a government rebate). We've been wonderfully cool (for lower operating costs) ever since. When I called this past July to schedule an annual inspection, Bob asked me if there was a problem and when I said no, he told me to call him back next year.

Bob showed up at my door within an hour. Took approximately 15 minutes to diagnose and repair a problem with a capacitor that other repairman would have charged me 2000 dollars for a brand new unit.

The owner of the company showed up at my home minutes after I called for service. He diagnosed the problem (a relay switch), offered a very affordable alternative and repaired it, recharged my system and discussed future options with me.

He was very good and very reasonable. He came immediately. He was here the morning of the next day after we called. We were very pleased with him. He was nice and good to work with. Our air conditioner is still working. He said he would come at eight in the morning and he was here on time. It was a Saturday or Sunday morning of a holiday weekend.

We were overdue to get our A/C inspected because the last company we called never showed. We found Bob at Triple S Refrigeration on Angie's List. He already had several good reviews. He came out the same day we called, did a thorough inspection, topped off our freon and calmed all my husbands fears about the occasional weird noises our unit makes. His attitude, which I love, seems to be if it's working, don't mess with it. He even talked my husband out of getting a UV light because our coils and drip pan are surprisingly clean. It's so refreshing in south Florida to find someone who isn't trying to sell you more than you need.

I have not met him but he is very nice from what all the property managers said. He is very nice on the phone. He seems like a very honest guy. He explained my options - doing it the cheap way or going all at it and replacing the whole thing. He did not push either way. I appreciated his honesty. He seems like an honest, reliable guy.

He did a great job. The AC in my rental property stopped working on a Friday afternoon. I found this company on angieslist and called and they were at the place within an hour. He went in and saw that the coil had burned out and replaced it. He was very courteous and professional and did not over charge me. I loved him and would hire this company again.

After my unit competely died, leaving my house 90+ degrees, I called Ed Helms air conditioning. Their repairman incorrectly told me the problem was with the electrical system in my house. The following day I had a friend of a friend, who was an electrician and an air conditioning repairman, come out and diagnose a blown compressor. Later that same day, a co-worker recommended that I call Bob at Triple S. She raved about him, so before replacing my compressor or unit, I called him. Bob came out within a couple hours, he was very polite and professional, and also diagnosed a blown compressor (I didn't tell him the second repairman had diagnosed the same thing). Bob didn't charge me for the diagnosis, and gave me a quote in case I was interested in replacing the unit (which was 30+ years old) After calling around and not finding anyone that could do the work for less, I called Bob. He came out the next day and quickly and efficiently replaced the unit. He was polite and efficient, and gave me a great price (including a 10 year warranty). I bought my co-worker a bottle of wine to thank her for passing his name along.

I met Bob through my daughter's softball team as Bob is one of the coaches. I never knew he did HVAC until my wife was talking to one of the other mothers and found out he had just installed an HVAC for them. He does no advertising and all of his business is by word of mouth, which speaks volumes. He took time to tell me what I realistically needed, as opposed to trying to sell me the top of the line that I really don't need (which is what we got from 5 other local companies-many of whom you see in the newspaper all the time.) He works with his son and it took exactly what he told me it would take in terms of time (2 days per unit). I would highly recommend them-they did a great job without all the sales B.S.
