Installation: No fault with the installation, polite, helpful, turned up on time etc.
Aftercare: Richie called to say he needed my husband to sign some papers. Fine. Got those signed. The next day he calls my husband to say: "If XXXX calls you, tell them you earn XXXXX as that's what I told them you earned." This figure was about a third more than my husband's salary.
I called the office. First off I spoke to Guy. He seemed concerned and said he'd call me back. Then I got a voicemail from Scott and called him back. He said it was Richie just trying to help us out and we should say the exact income figure. Scott said all the usual things "need to know these things so thanks for calling, Richie was trying to help you out". I don't feel confident that Scott took this issue seriously. So, in short, the product is great. Everything else? Remains to be seen. Left with a bad taste in my mouth over this.
"(removed member name) is correct on the time it took to re-install, the reasons for this was we could not get access to the back yard due to his dogs and there work schedules. They had a party planned , with all the scheduling issues we were able complete his project 2 days before the party. I am sorry this was not the experience he expected, we want our customers to have a good experience!"
"The follow up this customer is talking about is permitting and final inspections. Unlike many other companies we pull permits on all our jobs. The permitting process has become extremely cumbersome due to the work load the cities are handling while short staffed , dealing with the very complicated code we have in south Florida and a building boom under way. Every City has a different interpretation of the code on Solar. It is also very frustrating for us, dealing with the inconsistencies and time delays with most of the cities."
1) Sales force, James Zirin. He was a smooth talker and kept getting off subject by talking about his animated cartoon book that was going to make him rich. (submitted upon request).
2) We were expected to sign up for Angie?s list ? ON THE SPOT ? and given a $35 to compensate.
3) When we asked for a breakdown of charges to outline what we actually spent, nothing was ever sent to us.
4) Mr. Zirin informed us that we would roll out financing into another account if we were unable to meet the terms of our contract. We got the run-around from Linda (ofc Mgr) when we asked to do so.
5) We asked for an adjustment on our bill to compensate for the fact that not only did we save NOTHING on our electric bills in 2014, (See attached email below). it actually cost us more, we were given the run-around and were scheduled for a complete review of all systems of things we had done.
6) On Monday, 19 January Chris (installer) came out to inspect all of the jobs that we had installed. He found that nothing was wrong and so we should ask for compensation.
7) We are also complaining about the ?bosses? because they could care less about customer satisfaction.
8) We gave them plenty of time to help us find alternative financing (please see dates in email correspondence). Because they have dragged their feet it is going to cost us another $1200 in interest because our check will not clear by the time the our bill is due on 24 January.
9) Finally, the remedy we seek is a full refund of our investment. Why pay to upgrade our home to be energy efficient if it did not work? They failed to live up to their end of the contractual agreement.
We decided to have the PGT Impact resistant windows and doors installed. The installer Alan was prompt and very friendly. He came out to measure and the windows were ready in a few weeks. The entire house took two days to install and he took great care on the finishing and installation. He cleaned up after the installation and everything fit perfectly.
The energy savings is incredible and the house is virtually sound proof. We feel increased safety with the impact windows too.

James was excellent - he did not set any false expectations and the installers delivered on time and did extraordinary work . Special thanks to all - Dane, David, Damian, Jose' , Cornell and his colleague (do not remember his name).
They finished it in 3 days, under inhumane conditions (heat).

Came on time, came out the next day, did installation from outside with no mess; arrived at 8:30 and were finished at 10:30.
Great follow up inspection.
I am very happy to have reduction on my fpl bill of at least 30% the insulation installed also reduced the heat factor in the house even the few cold nights we have in florida i did not have to put on the heat thats a first. Overall the service i received was top notch and would recommend their services .
