I used Salbo construction for an addition closing in an existing patio into a master bedroom and creating a new hip roof patio they were friendly, always available, fairly priced, extremely knowledgeable, know how to read plans, see problems before they occur and work well with inspectors. I passed all inspections without issue overall great contractor I've been in construction 20 years and I'll definitely use them again and recommend them to everyone

We met with several contractors before deciding to use Salbo construction to make several improvements on our home, including, but not limited to our driveway, kitchen and bathrooms. This family owned and operated business, not only knows all the ins and outs of contracting, but they also do impeccable work in a timely manner. They were very professional, punctual and knowledgeable in all areas of construction. They had our permits handled very quickly, and they kept us involved every step of the way. We couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome and we are currently in negotiations with them to do a backyard remodel. This is the company you want to use! Marguerite Ayoob

I entered into a contract with this company and made a $5000 deposit, all bells were ringing alerting me about their predatory and unfair contract but decided to sign it anyway. They want you to commit to a job that you have no idea how much it will cost, they want to get your money before they even tell you what it will be, and if you disagree with them, they simply keep your money. That is what happened to me, they took my $5000 just to give me a scope of work, no pricing whatsoever, and when I didn't want to approve it, they simply took my money! Do NOT sign anything with these people! They charge more than other contractors and dont put in writing what they say to you verbally! Read their contract yourself - you have been warned! LABOR COSTS: which represent 20% overhead fees + 10% GC Fees, of all labor costs incurred (even the one paid directly by the owner) over total project length. “All labor costs incurred” includes but is not limited to the costs; charged for the runner (hours & mileage), the permit runner (hours and mileage) the manager on site (hours and mileage), the time sheets (hours and mileage charged) AND hours and mileage to host the inspections requested by the City, to receive the materials, the furniture, all applicable taxes etc. at the job site. MATERIAL & SUBCONTRACTOR COSTS: which represent 10% overhead fees + 10% GC Fees, of all subcontractor and material costs incurred (even the one paid directly by the owner) over total project length. “All costs incurred” includes but is not limited to the costs; charged on the invoices, the proposals, the estimates, the dumpster fees and any other receipts for materials used toward the project. THE CANCELATION OF THE CONTRACT BY THE OWNER/COSTUMER, REGARDLESS OF THE REASON, WILL RESULT IN LIQUIDATED DAMAGES TO THE CONTRACTOR OF 30% OF THE INCURRED EXPENSES (LABOR, SUB AND MATERIAL) ABOUT THIS CONTRACT, PLUS 30% OF THE REMAINING VALUE OF THE WORK THAT HAS NOT BEEN DONE BUT APPROVED BY THE COSTUMER, PLUS THE DEPOSIT AMOUNT.
