Called Russell Electric after hearing several favorable accounts of their work.  Russell came at the time he said he would and gave us a full account of what needed to be done to meet legal code.  His proposal was thorough and within what we expected topay for the service.

His son and second electrician came and did the work in a very professional and timely manner,  We were impressed at the level of knowledge and skill of the team and appreciated their work.

This is a family business which takes real pride in doing the job right at a reasonable price.

I contacted the owner about replacing my floodlights and repairing some indoor fluorescent lights.  The following week, he sent his electrician to my house, which I was not expecting.  The gate was closed, so he told the man to climb over the fence.  Due to inclement weather, the job took a few days.  When I called the owner to discuss some final details, he was rude.  He subsequently sent the bill with his electrician, but failed to send the warranty information for the new lights per the contract.  I wrote a check for part of the bill (more than half) and wrote a note that the balance would be paid on receipt of the warranty information for my new lights, as I had not purchased them directly.  Sometime later, I asked him in a text if he had got the check, and got a rude response.  A couple of days later, he came to my house to collect the final check and deliver the warranty information.  I tried expressing concern about his unnecessarily rude behavior.  He became agitated and without warning physically attacked me, grabbing and pinning me with both hands, struggling and trying to wrestle the check out of my hand.  The commotion brought my wife to the front door where she witnessed the unbelievable scene.  She grabbed him and yelled at him to stop with no effect.  The check went flying, and off he went after it.  We immediately dialed 911 as he ran to his truck yelling at us, and sped off.  The police arrived shortly thereafter.  They viewed the video surveillance footage of the entire event.  Never in my life have I had such an experience! (Currently goes by the name Russell Robinson Electric.  Same company.)

One thing that surprised me was that he came back so many times, he was not upset. He was very patient. If you need a good electrician, he will work works through problems, and not get flustered. He could have just said, ? I don?t know.?   However he did not, he brain stormed the problem, and we worked it out together.
