PRO-TECH INTL SECURITY SYSTEMS

The customer service skills are non existent. Especially the owner, Indiana, herself.
After looking for a new company to monitor my alarms, I found out that Pro Tech changed the programming setting from the original manufacture's one. When I attempted to get the new setting and/or have it reset to the original one, Indiana kept saying she would take care of it but never did. She will not return my phone calls and to top it off they stopped monitoring my alarms, without notifying me.

I usually call when I needed them and they call me back in a few minutes.

I contacted Pro-Tech for an estimate, along with several other companies, since I've used their monitoring service for the past several years for a condo we owned. They were not the cheapest for installing an alarm but their monthly monitoring fees and contract flexability was the most reasonable. The sales person was Oscar. He was professional and prompt answering all of my questions. Many of the other companies tried to sell me on a wireless system because they claimed it would be very difficult to install a hard wired system and would also not be aesthetically pleasing having wires all around the house. Oscar on the other hand assured me the hard wired system was the best way to go and that they could complete the job and it would be aesthetically pleasing. The day before the install I called the office to confirm the time the crew would arrive and I was told 8:00 AM. Unfortunately, they did not show up until 10:00 AM. The installers Livingston and Israel apologized for the miscommunication by the front office staff. The installers walked me through the project answered all of my questions then immediately got to work. They spent two days on the project and did a fantastic job. They snaked all the lines from the attic into the home. Their work was neat, you hardly notice the wires. You only notice if you actually look for them. The installers Livingston and Israel were very professional throughout the entire process. They finished their work at the end of day two. Unfortunately that evening when we tried to set the alarm one of the zones would not set. I immediately contacted the office and spoke to the office manager and installers supervisor. They apologized for the issue and assured me the tech Livingston would contact me the next morning to meet me at the property to resolve the matter. Sure enough Livinston contacted me on his day off, met me at the property and quickly resolved the issue.

Thank goodness we never had a real emergency requiring a response. However, we have had false alarms due to our own error (forgetting alarm is on, etc.). The alarm company quickly responded within seconds. Also, they service the alarm even though they were not the original installers. I did not have to wait long for service appointments, technician was professional and prompt. I recommend this company.

HAVING A HOME SECURITY SYSTEM MAKES ME FEEL A LITTLE SAFER WHEN I AM HOME ALONE. THE SERVICE PEOPLE WERE SWEET ABOUT ANSWERING QUESTIONS AND MAKING SURE I WAS COMFORTABLE USING THE ALARM SYSTEM.
