OUT ON A LIMB TREE SVC

Had some tree trimming done by this same company a year ago.  The price was reasonable.  The man (and his family, who were along for the ride) were very nice.  The work was just OK.  I thought he over-trimmed one of the trees, making it too narrow.  This year, when he came back looking for work, he had lost a leg in a traffic accident.  My husband hired his crew to trim the same trees, take out a planting bed in the front yard and cover it with sod.  The tree trimming was to include lowering the crown on the tall skinny tree.  However, it soon became apparent that they didn't have the equipment to trim the tops of the trees, so that didn't get done, and they trimmed the tree to be even skinnier.  The second tree was trimmed so that it was lopsided.  We had to leave for a dinner engagement, so my husband paid them the entire amount anyway and even tipped them.  They were supposedly waiting for one of the crew to come back with the sod.  The sod never got laid.  My husband called a few times and there was always an excuse.  Finally, in mid-June we replaced the sod ourselves.  We won't be using them again.
