 + -1 moreCheck out the termination policy! Ask them if there is a limit to how many memberships for that facility. Check out how many pieces equipment are tagged as broken. Go at busy times, after work, etc and see if you can stand the crowd. Most important, talk to current members...get their opinions...hang outside the front door and ask before you join...
Description of Work: Had to finally give up my membership to LA Fitness. Place has gotten very dirty over the last 6 months or so, equipment is often broken plus no matter what time you go, very crowded. Looks like they oversold $0 initiation fee memberships without regard to the number that they sold. Also, getting out ogf the contract is a real pain. They first told me they could cancel my membership at the desk, then later when i went to do so, they said "the manager has to do that" and then I found out I had to download a form, mail it to their headquarters, then they would tell me when membership was over. Not very consumer friendly! Think very carefully before you join here...

 + -1 moreThe facilities are clean and well-kept, the staff is attentive, and the classes are on time as scheduled. I would recommend this gym.
Description of Work: I attend aerobic and weight lifting classes.
