He is good. He is a little expensive, but he is good. The best part was that the work was done properly. I hope so. Since I'm not an electrician, I'm guessing. The worst part was the price. He is expensive, but he does what he needs to do.

Robert is a gem. He is a rare find. I got this referral from a friend of mine and used him for some major electrical work in the past as well. I was not an Angie's list member at that time. I have also referred him to friends of mine who needed an electrician and they thought he was great as well. I would not use any other electrician. He is very fair in his pricing. He is professional, dependable and friendly. I know this may seem like he might of paid me to write this review, but he did not. I am not a family member or friend either. I am just a happy customer who thinks when service providers do a good job, I want to pass along the praise.

I was in need of a electrician who was capable of relocating my existing wires that ran across my back yard because I was having an in ground pool built.  I found Robert on Angie's list and read the reviews from a previous satisfied customer who also was looking for someone to complete their job with FPL.  I gave Robert a call and he came out the very next day.  I called other electricians, but they told me they do not come out after 4:00 p.m., but Robert did so their I thought highly of him. He explained to me what needed to be done and to bring me up to code.  His price was in my budget and he began work immediately.  Robert who is the owner of the company and his assistant Frank were very friendly, professional and most of all reliable.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Illumination Electric. I have a 1956 house that needed additional breakers and to get rid of the old Federal Pacific inside breaker panel for long term safety issues. I picked them after reading their reviews on Angies List and can truly say they met and exceeded all my expectations. Robert Frontela is a true professional in the old school sense. Everything was done first class and talking to Robert it is obvious that is the only way he and his helpers work. Providing this quality of electrical work and professionalism was surprising because the cost was lower than other bids. I will be certainly be using them if I ever need more electrical work and highly recommend them to all my friends. Just a fyi - I am a electrical engineer with a Florida PE who retired from FPL with lots of experience with electrical power. Anyone will not be disappointed with using Illumination Electric !

Robert is truly an exceptional individual who runs a very professional business. After interviewing 4 electrical companies from Angies list, I finally gave the work to Illumination electric and I was not disappointed. The quotes have been accurate and appropriate, the materials they use are first rate, the work is done properly and in a timely fashion. Robert and his
crew were very clean and considerate during all work done. There were no issues with final inspections from the City of Hollywood and all went extremely smoothly. I have developed a significant trust for Robert and comfortably give him and his crew access to my home without me present for any ongoing work. In the South Florida environment where people are not what they seem and nothing can be trusted, you can rest assured you are in safe hands with these guys. The work will be done properly, on time, with minimal fuss and best of all, the price will be the best you can get for legitimate work. 5 star recommendation without reservation.

Robert the owner came and gave an estimate. I am currently unemployed so I alerted him to that and he was considerate and patient with me. He worked with me on the cost and it was an excellent experience.

The updating of the new panel box in my garage was a lot of work which required a junction box to be moved and this involved cooperation with FPL. Robert is easy to work with, shows up exactly on time, and his proposals are specific. Also Robert cleans up afterwards which many workers never do. Robert is considerate of your property inside and out. You will always be completely satisfied with all work performed by Robert at Illumination Electric.

After contacting and interviewing over a dozen electrical contractors in the Broward County area, I hired Illumination Electric due to their professionalism and punctuality. The owner, Robert, is very organized and reliable. He is quick to respond to emails and phone calls; and, was patient in answering my questions. They changed my electrical service from overground to underground, installed new electrical panel, installed new high hats and receptacles, and wired for new appliance locations. They are always ahead of schedule. Their work is very neat and tidy. The owner supervised all the work going on. I am very pleased with my experience of Illumination Electric, and would definitely use them again.

Robert performed the work as proposed. He was very friendly and accommodated my tenants requests for scheduling the work at certain times. He finished on time and he passed all the inspections.

Robert on a one day notice was able to install 12 high hats and 3 dimmers in my home. He left no dust or signs that any work had been done except a better illuminated room. He was reponsive to my call and accommodated my time request as I was having a party at my home the following day.

Robert is very detail oriented. He is very responsive to calls. He also started and finished the work on the scheduled that he proposed. Robert is very conscientious of the tenants that occupied the building during the upgade. He communicated with all involved during the entire process. It was a very smooth transition for the occupants of the building.
