Mortgage Companies
A mortgage company is employed to try match a customer like myself with a bank willing to give the mortgage to a customer. There is a fee that is associated with this service . These are called the loan origination fees. Unfortunately, what Home Trust Mortgage does is quote one price for their fees before the mortgage is obtained, and when the time to close on the mortgage that they obtained , comes they inflate the fees. This leaves the customer in a situation where they are forced to accept the higher than expected fees , or lose out on buying the house. This can have huge financial and legal complications for the customer because now they must try to extend the closing deadline with the seller of the home. Home Trust does this in a very deceptive and creative way so please, BEWARE!!!!!
