Unprofessional, unreliable and inexperienced...do not waste your time or money. I hired Giovanni to install tile on the first floor of my house and made the mistake of giving him the rest of the project. The project started in January and it is still not finished. Giovanni basically just has one employee who is a handyman and he uses for everything from electricity to plumbing to painting. The worker who installed my kitchen cabinet doors only comes on the weekends because he has a full time job somewhere else. The Quartz counter had to be ripped out because he used two different color quartz slabs. The kitchen alone took over two months to complete. He had to redo the stairs as well because the stain on the steps came out black the first time. He had the handyman stain the steps and he apparently used a paint brush so the stain was so thick you could not see the wood grain. After redoing the stairs he disappeared. He answered my phone calls a couple of times and kept promising to come back to fix many unfinished details. The worse problem is the tile grout discoloration all over my house. I purchased a beautiful dark wood-like Italian porcelain and a few months after he installed it the dark grout started changing colors. He claimed he would clean it and fix it. Now the grout is spotted and uneven turning into a cement like color in all different areas of the house. I consulted several experts and who said this happens when the grout is not mixed properly and the only way to fix it is by scraping it off by hand and re-grouting which will be very expensive! I have left Giovanni multiple messages with no response. He says yes to everything to get the job but is inexperienced and after making many mistakes and having to redo the work he eventually goes into hiding.
