The work he has done is to take out the big palm, did not haul away the debris from that cut. He purchased 15 podacorpus and planted 11. He purchased 6 bushes and did not plant any. He bought some mulch but not enough for coverage. Did not bring/buy the ground cover plants as asked. He bought lorapie that we did not ask for, saying it was in substitution for what we did ask for. And I did pay him out of my own pocket for his mistake. He should have called to confirm the change of plant. He did not buy or plant the 5 trees asked for. He left the job site 1.30.2015 not letting me know, I told him that he would get his final $1000.00 when the job is complete. He seems to think since he spent all the money we gave him so far that he was going to bully me out of the last $1000.00 before the job was complete. This transaction as been completely unprofessional on his part. He has been bullying me the entire time, demanding final payment when the job is not complete. We have PIF for all the plants. He has called and threatened me if I contacted either Angie's List or the BBB, said all types of disgusting things. He made some very serious threats to myself and my family. I am scared of this guy. He is a thief and a con man as far as I feel. I have attempted to have a mediator (a friend of this that I happen to know) hold the last check if he would complete the work and he refuses to complete and continues to make threats. This has turned into a nightmare and I am most likely going to have to get a restraining order. Thank goodness I live in a gated community. I have the documentation of all checks cashed. This could have been a simple transaction that blew up into total chaos. I think his team was using and/or dealing drugs as well. 2 people came to see him while he was at my house, his behavior was disturbing to say the least in the end. I cannot seem to verify his license number as well. It does not come up on the Florida license website. I can include pictures of the incomplete work as well if you want them.
