I used the company two times before over the span of a few years for the popcorn ceiling removal, wall texture and painting. The work was very satisfactory so I decided to do two more rooms plus painting of five doors. This time, the third time using them, it didn’t go so well. The popcorn removal and wall texture went just great as usual. The following day, when it was time to paint, they sent only one guy, a very tall order when he arrived at 10:00 am and had to go to Home Depot to buy the paint after we gave him color samples. He started to paint two sizable rooms, ceilings, walls and five doors at around 11:30 am. The job was in south Dade County and he was from Boca Raton, so he rushed to finish in one day, not wanting to have to drive back down the next day. He worked until after 9:00 pm and finished. The next day, the paint started peeling off three of the doors. I called the office and sent them pictures. I was told that they would schedule someone to do the corrections before the week was over. No one was sent out. The following week I called the office again and that is when the run around started. They did not haver anyone available, no one was working in the Miami area. They couldn’t give me a date. Finally they (Michelle) gave me a tentative day but had to confirm with the painter. In the meantime they had cashed all my checks and were paid in full, so they didn’t care about the unfinished and sloppy job. When I called back to find out if the day was confirmed, I was placed on hold for thirty minutes, then hung up on. When I called back, Michelle, the person in charge of scheduling refused to take the call. The other office person that answers the phone, probably her subordinate, tried to get her to come to talk to me. She refused. (I could hear their conversation in the background.) He relayed the message that she would call me shortly, but definitely before the end of the day. The call never came that day or any day since. I had to hire a professional painter, who had to strip all the peeling paint, properly prep the doors with appropriate primer and repaint them, which was much more work than it should have originally taken, had it been done correctly. What I see here from other reviewers is that this company has an average to low rating. Some people are very satisfied and some are giving the lowest rating (1). From what I am reading and from my own experience, the conclusion is that their popcorn removal and texturing crews are very good. Their painting, on the other hand, is erratic, of inconsistent quality and can get sloppy. Worst of all is their administrative and scheduling department which cares nothing about the quality of their work or customer satisfaction once they are paid in full.
