D & B TILE OF HOLLYWOOD

I am doing a complete renovation of a 3500 sq. ft. home.  The greatest headache has been from D&B Tile in Hollywood.  Briefly, I was told a week after ordering everything that one of the decorative tiles was no longer made so I went in and found another tile to substitute. Then I was called a week or so later and told that one was no longer in stock so I went to D&B to pick another.  When I got there I was told, "It's okay, we found it."   Almost 2 weeks later, the day before scheduled delivery of all the different tiles for 2 full bathrooms I was called and told that the tile they had called me about really wasn't being made anymore so I had to come in and pick another one to go on the delivery tomorrow.  That meant I had to pick one in stock.  I couldn't find anything I really liked that was in stock so I had to settle for something that I wasn't crazy about because I couldn't hold up the tile installation.   -- The tile was delivered.  Now I found that instead of ordering me 40 feet of bullnose the sales person ordered me 40 pieces so I'm short bullnose.    I know I should have checked everything with a fine tooth comb.  I usually do but in this case I didn't and I'm the worse off for it.  D&B has made so much more work for me and really wasted my time.  It is important to note that the salesperson who originally help me was no longer at the store 2 weeks after I ordered the tile.  You would think after she left management would assign another salesperson to oversee my order.  They told me another salesperson was taking over but except for the phone calls to tell me my tile wasn't in stock, then was in stock, then wasn't in stock,  I have not seen anyone really putting effort into making any of this come out right.

I was looking around, shopping for porcelain tile.  I saw D & B listed in various cities.  I was going to Miami to the tile district but I did not need to.  I received a GREAT deal right in my own backyard.  I was greeted by Jerry Bates, a sales associate and he was polite and very helpful.  I found what I was looking for immediately and received a price, that no one in Miami could possibly beat.  Hired a company that D & B recommended.  My experience with D & B was a happy one!
