If I could give this company NO STARS, I would! I currently live in Texas. My 93 year old Mother in Fort Lauderdale signed a contract with Certified Marine Contractors to rebuild a boat dock she has in the back yard. This was signed back in MAY!! They seem to have every excuse in the book to not be able to finish this job. They are very difficult to contact, and when you do get in touch with them, they are LIARS!! If you speak to Sylvia, don't believe a word she says! We have had to contact a legal department to see what recourse we have. BEWARE! DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!!

These guys did an absolutely fantastic job. I consider myself extremely lucky to have found them in the yellow pages. I called 5 different companies for inspections. This site only had a few so I went to other sources for more. Of everyone I called (all of whom offered free inspection), only this company actually put someone in the water to closely inspect everything (actually it was the owners - husband and wife team - who came out to do the inspection). It was thorough, lasted about an hour and they explained everything to me and answered my many questions. Everyone else who came out told me what I needed without going into the water. Interestingly enough, everyone else said I needed anywhere from $20,000 to $30,000 worth of work (including new footers and one company indicated I needed new footers and batter pilings based solely on siting down the cap of my seawall which, BTW, showed very little cracking and no bulging). Certified Marine laughed when I told them about some of the estimates. I guess the real knowledge will be in the situation I face years down the road, but I feel very comfortable about the choice I made. Once we agreed on price, I sent them a down payment and they came out a week later. They would have been done in 3 days (as planned), but one of their suppliers for the PVC wraps went out of business and they had to find another. They kept me informed the whole time and it only took about 10 days. These guys were great and I highly recommend them!
