HORRIBLE!
Dr. Stauber's after surgery care was a nightmare. He refused to return
my phone calls after I was released from the hospital. I suffered with
10+ pain and my discomfort was horrendous. He also refused to refill my
pain med just 7 days after my surgery! I had to schedule an emergency
visit with my pain management physician for pain meds. I don't know
what I would have done had I not had a pain management doctor to get
pain meds. Dr. Stauber's clerical staff (he has no medical personnel staffing his office in the 4th floor suite)
told me to "just deal with the pain!" He has no after hours phone number to call.
Additionally, post
After the surgery I also experienced horrible left shoulder pain, which I had not had prior to surgery.
CT/MRI revealed that I had a torn shoulder cuff! I now have more pain
and disability than I had prior to the surgery. My right hand is 50%
larger than my left! Dr Stauber also failed to return calls from his
colleagues to coordinate my care, eg orthopedic md for my shoulder and
pain management MD! They called him on his cell and left a message to
return their call re: my case. Both doctors told me at my next office
visit with each of them, that Dr. Stauber did not call them back. My
pain management dr told me that a surgeon is responsible for care 90
days post surgical but Dr. Stauber doesnt conduct himself in accordance
with professional standards.
I am going to file a formal complaint with the FL State Licensing board regarding Dr. Stauber so
other patients do not suffer likewise.

My experience with the office was mixed. I did not have good experiences with the office staff for the most part but the xray technicians and my surgeon Lawrence Alexander were very good. My surgeon was very available for questions and responsive with answers as best he could. I appreciated it.

Dr. Yovino does not give up. I have several issues with my spines resulting inextreme pain and discomfort. Dr. Yovino is will to go that extra mile to find the right treatment plan. She is not giving up (as several other physician have). She works hard to find a plan and treatment that will best reduce my pain.

He was telling jokes and making very light of a very serious situation. I thought he was totally inappropriate. He was unprofessional and completely obnoxious. I would never recommend anyone to go to him.

She is really a star. She cares about you as and individual. She is not money orientated and really cares about her patients. I would recommend Dr. Yvino to anyone. She did spinal injections and several different options to help manage my pain. I have experienced pain for over 22 years. With her help my pain is now manageable. She has become a friend to me and not just a doctor. Her office staff is also friendly and nice.
