Best of Broward Sprinkler's Inc. Was established in 1986, offshoot of Atlantic lawn irrigation. The owner Bob Sanford has over 30 years experience in irrigation and well drilling business. Best of bro ward sprinkler's inc. is a full service and installation business specializing in irrigation, both residential and commercial properties, ranging from small to large (churches, temples, schools, shopping centers, hospitals) installation and service of sprinklers,wells, pumps, timers, rust tanks. "This member called asking for a price to relocate his sprinkler pump from inside the garage to the outside. We don't like to give prices via phone but he insisted. I quoted him $240 to $275 UNSEEN !. He said that was fine and asked if we could send someone out by Friday since his sprinklers haven't been working and everything was dry. We called him on Friday to let him know we were coming, he said that was fine but that he wasn't home, he was traveling and would be home later that evening.( He didn't tell us he would be traveling until Friday or we would have never gone down there, but we wanted to accommodate the customer) When Michael arrived he found that the existing timer and pump start relay were damaged in a box, and the electric wasn't even hooked up. He had a rusty disconnect switch and romex hanging through the wall. Michael told him he had to provide new wiring to the disconnect switch to bring everything to code. In the customer's best interest Michael recommended a new clock with pump start included for $240.00. This member said that was fine. Michael relocated the pump outside, installed the new clock with wiring and brought everything to code. We have a picture and everything looks beautiful. Mind you everything was done via phone with this member as we thought the homeowner would be home. When Michael told him the final invoice amount this member thought that the timer was included in the price of the relocation of the pump.The clock is a separate price, we can't install it for free. Since the member felt that there was a misinterpretation Bob gave him a $40.00 discount. Bob is also stating he would be glad to secure the pump down at no charge,as it is not required to do so ( the member didn't tell us he wasn't happy with not securing of the pump) The member said he would pay the invoice when he got home but never did. After emails and leaving messages via phone with no response, the member finally paid his bill 10 days later, after my boss finally got a hold of him. You could see why my boss was upset. We feel that professionalism should works both ways. This customer should not be dissatisfied as the job performed is out of trust, honesty ,is completed properly, everything works, is up to correct code, and priced fairly."
