He got the job because he stated FPL will not do it and he was licensed by FPL to do the work.

I Called FPL later and they will indeed come out and do it at no charge.

This guy lied to get the job.

Cost me $50.

Mike and his assistant Robert were trimming a neighbor's trees when I spotted them and decided to inquire about trimming our oak tree.  I had already had two other tree trimmers give me quotes.  Not only was All Star Tree Service less expensive, they did an excellent job of pruning the huge tree. First Mike explained how and why it would be done which helped me understand the process and he also showed why a neighbor's tree trimming was done not only incorrectly but also not thoroughly as
well.  Needless to say, my neighbor will also be hiring Mike soon to fix what was done previously.  Although one estimate was cheaper, it was from the same man who botched my neighbor's oak tree.  The other estimate I  received was about 25% higher and when I researched his services, he was really a landscaper and not really a licensed tree trimmer.  Mike is not only a licensed tree trimmer but he is an extremely knowledgeable horticulturalist.  I would hire him again for any future needs.
