24 Hour Fitness USA - Miramar

It's open 24 hours. That's the main reason I go. Before I go to work, I go to a gym that opens up at 5 o'clock in the morning and then I'm standing outside at 5:15, and it still hasn't opened because I am waiting for the person to come. It throws my whole day off because I'm backed up and every minute counts in the gym. I can walk in at 4:30 in the morning and somebody is there. I walk in at 3:30 in the morning and somebody is there. I don't have to wait for somebody to open the door. I used to go to one that I had to wait for someone to come open the door, and that person called in sick, and nobody knew it and nobody showed up. I have been going there for 6 years.

Been going here for a few years albeit not as often as I should. As far as service providers go, 24 Hour Fitness in Miramar gets it right. I started with spinning classes 3 times per week at noon and never had anything but positive experiences with that. I am fortunate enough to be able to go during lunch so I rarely have to deal with any type of crowds or waiting for machines. There is always a red shirt around to answer questions and the place is kept rather clean. There is a guy there who is always vacuuming and cleaning....ALL THE TIME! Price couldn't be better as my healthcare provider covers my monthly dues. Every once in awhile, there may be a headphone jack on a treadmill that doesn't work right or a piece of machinery out of order but that is to be expected in the industry...especially in a 24 Hour environment. I enjoy going there and would probably credit their success to involved and concerned management. It shows and could be shared with some other South Florida industries that fail in the management department. Keep up the great work! I'll try to keep up my end of the bargain.

Both classes are an hour long and are very good: first class is Basic Strength training and second class is Zumba Dance

We went to the Fitness 24 hours on Red Road because they offered a free weekend trial pass online on their website. First, it was quite a lengthy process to get the online print-out transferred into an actual trial pass. It probably took close to 20 minutes and nobody felt really responsible to help us. That was certainly not top-notch customer service but since we got something for free we did not complain at the time. The gym itself is quite nice. What we like especially is the downstairs area which includes the locker area with very nice showers, an olympic pool, a whirlpool, a steam room and a sauna. We are contemplating about joining the gym just for these things, since they are very conducive to relaxing after work. The actual gym is upstairs. The big minus of it is that it is very noisy which is likely to be blamed on the bad acustics in the large workout area. There are many cardio machines of the same kind which is a big plus. Negatively mentioned should be that of the weight machines there is only one per kind, so there were people waiting for certain machines at times. A good thing is that in the 29 USD per month membership there are group courses included, like kickboxing, zumba, pilates, yoga, and the like. After we were done using the trial pass for the weekend, the marketing staff sort of harassed us via cell phone and email for a couple of weeks which is the pitfall of accepting something for free but it was still a bit annoying and not necessarily state-of-the-art communication on their part. You will get some good deals though after you used the free weekend that you would not have gotten if you had just joined right then and there. Overall, the spa area very nice, the fitness area so-so.

The facility is very clean. The staff is very helpful. The equipment is adequate.

They are very close and have a lot of options. I like that I do not have to pay extra for the classes. Everything is included in the price.
