This is the second time i have called on Matt and the second positive review I have written.  I would not have done so if I was not completely satisfied.  Much of the work was done in a concentrated period of time (over about a month, I think); Matt was also able to be flexible and work around both of our busy schedules.  Jason (who works with Matt) did a lot of the work and is awesome also.  I left all the purchasing of supplies to Matt and have no complaints at all.  He makes good decisions.  That's what I needed - someone who could take the ball (i.e. make sense of all my crazy ideas and requests) and run with it.  He did.  I appreciated all of his suggestions.  Matt and Jason are totally honest and trustworthy.  I have no hesitation in recommending them.

They remodeled my kitchen. They finished the work in about a week. They were very clean. They respected my house. They are always putting drop cloths down and cleaning up behind themselves. Matt was very receptive to changes and ideas that I had which helped the job go better. I have used them before.

He fixed it quick and the price was unbeatable

Matthew and his crew were very professional and courteous.  They were always on time and worked efficiently.  They cleaned up leaving our home in very good condition.  I would highly recommend Matthew and would definitely use him again in the future for repairs.

Even though our room is irregularly shaped, and the glass tile thickness was different than the ceramic tile thickness, he took all that into consideration. The finished floor looks very beautiful!

I purchased a replacement door from Home Depot for one that was corroding. Apparently, door installation companies aren't too keen on installing 3rd party doors and will only install the ones they sell (lesson learned). Matt was extremely prompt, courteous and professional. I absolutely recommend them!

The work was performed in a timely manor, and was very good quality.  We were very happy with the end product.

They were responsive to our initial contact.  Clear about when they could do the job and came exactly as they said they would.  Brought adequate help, did an excellent job, and charged a very reasonable fee.

It went very well from start to end..... will do it again...... very pleasant ,,,,, they were polite , respectful, hard working, and just great guys all around.....

I would definitely recommend him because he and his crew are hard workers, honest and reliable!  He is someone I will keep in my contact list for any future projects I may need to complete.

Sequoia Builders--Matt was responsive from the first phone call.  He provided an estimate and scheduled work the next week.  In the process of repairing the known termite damage, he discovered additional damage in an additional room and closet.  As part of the repair, we replaced a window.  Matt took care of everything.  He was prompt, professional and courteous.  In fact, he did such a great job on this project, we have since used him on 2 additional projects: replacing interior doors and trim throughout our home, replacing bifold closet doors with french style closet doors.  We plan on having Matt do additional work on our laundry room remodel.  I highly recommend Matt for any home improvement project.

I had a room enclosed to create an office and crown molding and painting done in the rest of the house.   I could not be more pleased.The job was not a hard job and could have been done by lots of people but I wanted no hassles. 
They worked hard, cleaned up each day and were responsive to questions. 
I would definitely use them again.   They were not the cheapest quote that I received but I paid for great quality of work and don't regret it.
Matt is a true craftsman that takes great pride in his work and it shows.

Matthew was professional and honest. He rearranged his busy schedule to come  to my home because the issue I needed addressed was a likely water leak, albeit a small leak. He saw the small amount of liquid oozing from beneath the granite backsplash where it meets the granite countertop, and said it was not anything of concern. We are new owners of the home, and he said that the substance was most likely baby oil that the prior owner had spilled and it was slowly oozing back out, or it was the oil in the sealant that was used to attach the granite backsplash to the granite countertop. This was a relief to me and explained why I couldn't find any evidence of water  leaks or damage underneath the vanity. I was afraid a contractor would have to rip out the vanity and granite countertop to be able to assess where the water was coming from.

It went fantastic, they arrived one time, worked hard, charged by the hour and finished early.

I contacted Matt based on his Angie's list reviews.  After our initial discussion he stayed in contact with me until I could arrange a start date that suited my variable schedule.  He and his helper worked three long days on this project.  They were prompt, courteous, kind and most of all, professional.  They describe themselves as craftsmen and that's how I see them as well.  They made suggestions that improved the project significantly.  For example, instead of just building a plain wall they suggested building in several niches.  Great idea!  This new section of wall is now a feature in the room.  No one can tell which floor tiles are new and which are the original ones.  The new grout matches the original grout perfectly.  Finally, they cleaned up after themselves!  They worked hard to leave the house and work area (garage/driveway) as they found them.

It went very well.   The whole job took about five days. They were very neat and clean and they picked up after themselves.  The man who owns the company, Matt Christian, is very professional and very nice.  He had all his receipts for supplies so he didn’t just say, “all the supplies cost x amount of dollars.”  He kept an accurate record of the hours he worked because he did this job on an hourly basis.  He did a fantastic job removing the wallpaper; no one had ever painted under the wallpaper so it was a nasty job.  I think his prices were quite competitive.  He charged me $35 per hour and he worked every hour he was there.  He’s a general contractor and not just a guy who does a few jobs on the side.  He either answered the phone when I called him or he called me right back. The quality is very nice; everything is plumb and it is finished off nicely.  It was a positive experience; I would use him again.

I've used them for about a year. They are very professional. Nothing is ever left messy. The bills are details and they go out of their way to please you.

All went well and I was more than happy with Matt & his work. I would definitely refer him to anyone looking for quality work and I told him I will tell my neighbors about him here in our condo where we live. He was very clean and made sure everything was picked up when he had completed his work. There are many companies who did a very poor job at cleaning up but I must say Matt was an exception to this rule. He is a good working young man and I would tell anyone looking for services such as we had too give Matt a call. I assure you that you will not be disappointed. There is nothing he can't do so when we decide to do our other bathroom we will give Matt a call for sure.

After we bought our Florida home in Tarpon Springs, my wife went on line to Angie's List looking for different contractors to complete various jobs, both inside and outside the home. One of the contractors we interviewed and asked for a quote on items was Matt. We liked Matt from the very beginning. It was evident he was experienced, could do a multitude of jobs, and was "hands on" which was extremely important to us. We interviewed several other contractors and had them quote on the same jobs. Matt was not the cheapest nor was he the most expensive. But, after weighing everything we decided to go with Matt on our first jobs and see where we would go from there. The rest is history. We were extremely pleased with Matt's work. Not only pleased with the finished product, but pleased with how easy Matt was to work with. He and my wife worked well together, exchanging ideas and collaborating on the final design of terms. Over my career I have moved many times, worked with multiple contractors building & refinishing several homes (8 in all). Matt is the best I have ever worked with. He is a perfectionist. He is honest and committed to delivering what you want.I certainly feel I got the best value for my money with Matt. Now, if there is any project I need done around the house, I call Matt. We have built a trust and friendship. He also has many contacts in the business. If there is some expertise Matt needs he brings it in, but he never relinquishes control of the job. I guarantee, you will not go wrong with Matt.

called to set up an appointment for an estimate and set up a time. the repairman came earlier than stated while i was at work. no problem though as he left his cards with a friend that was staying with me. when i arrived at home , i called him and discussed the damage and repair options. after being completely satisfied with the response to my problem i set up an approximate date for the repairs to be done. to my surprise , he was available to start work sooner than discussed which i was very impressed with. once again , on the first day of repairs we discussed the work to be done. they were very professional and discussed in detail the job at hand, including potential costs of labor and supplies and how long it would take to complete the job. it took 3 days to do the work ( as discussed) and i have to say , not only did they do a fantastic job on the repairs , but the house looks better than the day i moved in 19 years ago. they even upgraded to hardy board as i requested and added flashings that the original builder neglected to include. very fine work . i would definitely recommended this company to anyone who might need this type of work done, thanks.

Matt was punctual, did what I asked, completed his tasks and cleaned up behind himself. Very capable and thorough and moved swiftly from project to project. I was very pleased, and so glad this stuff is finally done and done right! :)

That man isjust great.  He is like your friend.  He is taking care of everything. I would recommend him to everybody.
