Daly Aluminum

The doors themselves are worth the money. The performance by Daly's sales and installation personnel leaves a lot to be desired. The first installer on the job made a mess of the frame and hinges. It was so bad Daly had to order new hinges and frames. After installation we had Daly back to adjust the piston door closers. The closers were not shutting the door completely. When the closer was adjusted to allow complete closing, there was a safety issue of no hesitation to allow easy egress through the door way without the door slamming on a person's ankle. heel or elbow. Now the doors must be fully closed by hand. When I brought this issue to Daly's attention, I was informed that a stronger closer was needed but if Daly installed them, we would have additional holes in the door frame. Daly's representative also told me the closers were the ones the Sun-Tech provides with the doors but are not adequate for the weight of the door. We depended on the Daly's expertise for the door replacements, proper installation and functioning. They know or should know the requirements of the products they are selling and installing. If they are aware of the inadequacy of the supplied equipment, why did they not inform us and suggest a workable solution?

It was very good. They were on time and professional.

They worked very closely with our renovation company to replace rotted windows, and ensure everything would be up to code. We got other estimates- and their installation price was the most reasonable and the quality of windows were superior.

Signed contract and gave deposit 6/30/15 waited 12 weeks (9/22/15) for job to start only took 1 day to complete. Great work and people there nice to work with. I would use this provider again if I was not in a hurry.

Everything went very well.Adam & Joe( longtime employees)promptly came for 2 days,working non-stop.I was quite surprised at how unobtrusive/independently they functioned which I was pleased to not have my routine upended.They cleaned all work areas to where they were exactly as clean prior their arrival(rare!!).The windows & install quality was everything I'd expected.They gave detailed instructions and tips on keeping my investment in great condition,as well.I was very comfortable around these obviously trustworthy men,which means alot to me in the hiring process.Their estimate was very fair and I'd call them in the future without hesitation for other work needed."Thank you!"

They did exactly what they said they were going to do. The installers were very good and worked hard for the three days they were here. I am having them come back to give me prices for windows and sliders next. I did my homework before choosing this company and I am very happy with my choice and I would recommended them.

I had to call twice for someone to come give me an estimate but once he did, he was very courteous and professional.  He was given full details of the job and a deposit.  When the men came out to perform the work however, they didn't screen or complete the job according to specifications.  It wasn't a big deal though because once I called to let them know, they were out in the next day or so to fix the issue.  All in all, the job was done great.  Not cheap but quality work.

I like the owner, Mike, and he had a great attitude. I went to the showroom and had a great experience. I didn't have to put any money down and then offered a special that we had seen. The windows work wonderful. The workers were on time and very professional. The workers did a great job and worked well together. They actually finished ahead of time. I did have one small issue and they responded quickly and fixed the issue. I have been very happy thus far.

I am there on a monthly basis buying things. I am a property manager and they have windows and doors, glass, metal. They have a metal press there. They've got odd ball parts that no one carries. A very good supplier. I can send workers there and pick up product that they need and show up a day later and pay for it. I cover four counties and I have workers working and if something is broken or there is a burglary or there is a problem the just use my name and they will call me and yup we have what you need. Okay Tom we'll see you when you get in here, no problem you don't have to be here today, just come sometime this week. I show up the next day and pay. No one does business like that. I go there all the time. They have staples other places don't have. They are recommended by their competition but their competition don't have the weirdo stuff they have . They don't stiff you for the weirdo stuff. They are very good with the people. They spend time with the old people that come in that don't know what they are doing and they tell them just take a picture come in, then they can see it and give you exactly what you need. Or tear it apart and bring it here and we'll fix it for you at the site. Instead of sending someone out there to pay an arm and a leg for something that is very simple, just tear it apart and bring it in there and they will fix it. Or give you the parts you need to help you fix it yourself. If they need to fix it for you they will. There is a little charge but they aren't beating the crap out of you for it if it requires specialty tools or something. They are very good people, very good. They have been there for forty years. This isn't a new on the block place, they have been around for years. I fix and repair things for investors. They work with me because I keep prices down. If you want to beat your competitors in my business you better know whose got A-1 products that are bottom line better than anyone else's price. I can't say enough good things about them. I just can't. If I need something weird I have to go there and they have it. And they stand by their products. I am going to continue buying there. I have been buying there for eight years now. If you need hurricane shutters, specialty window parts, I mean they are carrying all this old school stuff and people will come in there trying to fix their jalousie windows or their trailers or their add on to their house like screening and all that kind of stuff. That's what they do and they carry everybody's stuff and if you have something odd and it's not manufactured anymore they have pressers and metal working equipment there and they can custom suit and fit if you bring in the old aluminum piece that's bad they can press it out and give you a brand new piece and not charge you an arm and a leg for something that is designed and made right there at sight. They have metal press right there. They are good people. And the guy at the desk if you walk in and watch him and watch some old people come in there, they don't take advantage of them, they take time and show them what to do or ask them what they are doing. If it's work that requires a permit they can pull a permit and do whatever or recommend a general contractor to do the work and they will supply the material. They are very good folks, very fair.

Fast and great

I had noticed some years ago that one section of the garage was not laying properly. I had tried all kinds of props to fix it with no awail. I called Daly and told them the story. They told me there would be a minimal service charge and I said OK. They came the next day and fixed the problem. The soffit lays perfectly and looks good. There was no extra charge for the repair.

A door had to be cut into the house where a window was. Daly took care of everything, concrete contractor and the door and the screen room. There was some miscommunication as to when the job would be finished but they corrected the error and got the job done sooner to make us happy. The contractors were great and we love our screen room!

Perfect! No don'ts at all.
