They did a horrible job. It?s amazing how after they get your $13k they leave quickly and don?t come back to repair my gutters they tore up. I will tell everyone I know not to use this company. They did a shabby job on my soffit. Buyer beware! They now have an attitude when I have asked them to come back and they have not. They ripped a hole in my screen and broke my sprinkler head. I had to call another company out to do the repair. I would not recommend the company for anything. I would not trust him or pay him until the work is done to your satisfaction. He is a nice guy upfront then after he gets the check he is a nasty guy and a real jerk. He will keep saying he?ll get around to fixing the issues, but will not.

We feel blessed to have found American Professional Roofing. We had over a dozen quotes but nobody took the time to discuss our roof options like Pat did. He was very informative without making us feel pressured at all. They were able to work with our budget and get the roof completed before our guests arrived.
Even when our Florida rains came in and tossed us a curve ball, Pat made sure we were left with nothing but a beautiful new roof.
I have already recommended American Professional Roofing to my friends and neighbors and will continue to do so!

Jimmy stayed with the job over 3 days until it was totally complete and made sure we were satisfied. His cleanup was good and he went the extra steps to have the whole project look good as well as not leak anymore.

When they showed up to do the work, they were several hours late. The truck they came in had a different name than American Professional Roofing.  They were not familiar with the area because they ran out of shingles to make the roof repair, and did not know where the Home Depot was! So they had to stop working until the  guy found the Home Depot that carried the matching shingles and the delay caused them to run out of daylight.  I have not had a roof leak since, so I will have to assume that work was done properly.  However, the roof vents are a totally different story.  They replaced them late in the day as it was getting dark.  A few days later I noticed that my roof looked like it was warped/sagging along the ridge where the new roof vents had been installed. It did not look that way before the vents were replaced.   After a few months went by, I climbed up on the roof and saw the shoddy work.  The vents were not installed straight and it caused the roof to look warped- this is what happened when they were working in the dark!   Before the warranty ran out (9/2015), I called them several times and got the run around.  I was talking to a lady named Rita, who refused to give me the owners phone number, saying she would ask him to call me instead. The owners name is Patrick HLoska. He never called.  I called at least 6 more times before I got the job supervisor, who agreed to come out and take a look at the ridge vents.  He did not show up. He said he had been busy.   I called again and he promised to come out within two days, he came and saw my concern.  He then stated that he would talk to the owner about redoing the work to the ridge vents.  I was promised he would call back.  He never did.  
I believe that American Professional Roofing sub contracted the work to someone near my home location instead of using their own crew.  I also believe that since he had already paid the sub contractor, that he now does not want to pay to redo the work.  So I am stuck with the shoddy work that may be a big issue when I go to sell this home. 
I gave them many opportunities to do the right thing here, but they did not even return my calls.  BUYER BEWARE!!

I thought their service was horrible. It was really really not worth the money at all. The guy did not get on the roof. The guy was nasty. They were angry because I called to reschedule. Their business is far away from where I am and they only get half the money from Angie's List and they had to get the crew here again a second time. I ended up cancelling the service. It was a horrible experience. It was awful

They wanted to get the balance, but they needed to get the safety inspection by the city first. They kept saying to pay now they were going to send the certification 'tomorrow'. I gave them my phone number and we spoke multiple times, but when it came to this balance they never contacted me. Somehow they got my colleagues' number and kept harassing her. Extremely unprofessional.

Fantastic job!! Completed right on schedule, workers very professional & efficient, kept area very clean. Could not even find one roofing nail on the ground!! I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a roofing job well done!!

Fast and reliable

Everything with American Professional Roofing was wonderful from the start. Patrick, the owner, came out himself to do the measurements of our roof and was very polite and explained all that was needed. From then on I had contact with Kim in the office, who is GREAT! Every time I called, which was quite a bit, she knew exactly who I was and helped me personally. The roof wasn't done as soon as I liked but that was no fault of there's with the loads of rain we had lately. They were awesome with fitting us into the schedule earlier than we were originally scheduled. Our roof looks great and we have had a leak prior to the re-roof and of course we've had more rain and nothing has come through! They also helped with getting us set up for a wind mitigation test with a referral company of there's which was very helpful. All in all great experience with APR, Patrick and especially Kim. I hope we don't need to use them in the near future but if every a need it will definitely be with them and will definitely let others know as well. Thank you for giving us piece of mind and keeping us dry!!

Seemed to know what he was doing. Told me details of visit. The only problem was he got tied up the first appointment day which I understand, but I had to call the office to ask where he was rather than they calling me.

This company made it a priority to get to my son's home in Holiday and do an emergency  roof repair  - they did a great job at a great price and were absolutely wonderful to deal with.  I highly recommend them.

Great Job

American Professional Roofing, Inc. recently put a roof on my home. During the installation of the roof on Monday, April 13th it rained and the water came in through the ceilings in the following rooms:small bedroomlaundry roomgaragemaster bathroomkitchenvent in family roomvent in living room Also, my antique doll collection had damage as well. The hot tub rain for at least five hours and the motor may be damaged (not sure).I contacted the owner, Patrick Hloska and advised him of the issues. He came out and I expressed my displeasure with their negligence during the re-roofing. Also, we advised his workers they plugged into the circuit box in the hot tub breakers. The hot tub ran for at least 5 hours. It may have burnt out the motor. It was not yet tested. The owner said it is not their fault and he ignored our comments but he would send out someone to check the other issues in the house.Patrick sent out someone to check our breaker box - it appears okay. He sent a drywall person out. His solution was to cut out the area in the kitchen, garage, and garage storage and spray something. He agreed it was wet but he was not available for at least 10 days and left.This occurred on April 13th and the areas still looked wet and another company who was out to perform other services in my home reviewed the wet areas. I had them check the suspect wet areas. All areas according to the meter were saturated with water. We contacted the owner and he wanted to know the cost but would not agree to having this remediated, In the meantime, I had the water remediation company prepare an estimate cost for remediation.I called owner again and he basically told me he is not paying for a dry out and he advised me his drywall person will handle it. The owner said he was not doing anything about this and said he was hanging up and would call me on Monday. I advised him this could not wait. I also asked him if he was turning this into his insurance and he said no. I tried contacting his drywall person on Saturday only to receive a threatening message on my answering machine. I am appalled the owner would send someone like this to my home???On Sunday, April 19th, the remediation company came out to begin the dry-out remediation process to eliminate any future issues with my home. During the set-up of equipment and removal of a ceiling area in my laundry room, they discovered saturated insulation in the ceiling and which was removed in order to place fans and drying equipment to begin the dry out process. Additionally, the cabinet was removed in the bedroom wall where water damage occurred and the door of the cabinet was damaged due to water. The ceiling in my garage and storage area was damaged due to water and the paneling on the walls had to be removed and drying equipment place there as well. At this point, I am not sure of the total dollar amount of the damage because drywall will also need replaced and the areas will need painted. I have not yet estimated the doll damage and the hot tub still has not been reviewed for any damages to the motor. It is important to note, my home did not have leaks from the roof at all prior to this contractor performing the re-roofing so I am extremely disgusted and disappointed I chose a company from Angies’ list and this occurred. I still owe the contractor the other ½ of the balance due, however, he said he was going to make this right but appears to not be a man of his word. He does not appear to want to do whatever it takes to rectify this sloppy and negligent job on his company’s part. Also, I received a notice from Roofing Supply Group; 8501 Sabal Industrial Blvd, Tampa, FL 33619 who advised me if they are not paid a lien will be placed on my home.(who they purchased shingles from) The roof has still not been inspected by the building inspector of Tarpon Springs.This is a nightmare as all I wanted was a reputable company to install a new roof on my home. Now all of this unnecessary damage has been done and the contractor is not willing to do the right thing and fix it in accordance with how it was prior to the damage. I am writing this letter to advise all customers who may be considering this contractor for services – to be aware!!

They were easy to schedule with.  They showed up, did the inspection and provided me the information I needed.  Kim was very pleasant to deal with over the phone.  Very positive.

The whole process from start to finish was excellent.  They responded to my request for an estimate very quickly and were able to have someone come to my to take a look.  They were very thorough in doing the estimate.  They went up into the crawl space of my  2 story home to see exactly where the leak was coming from and then looked at the roof on the outside.  Once I accepted the estimate they scheduled the repair very quickly.  The roofer who came to do the repair was very polite and friendly.  He took his shoes off to enter our home so he could also go up into the crawl space to make sure he also could see the location of the leak.  He completed his repair very quickly.  We have had several heavy rain days since the repair and there was no more leak.  We are thrilled with their work and the price was so much better than the other estimates that we recieved.  Great service all the way.

Roofing update:

We were dreading the replacement of our roof since we work from home. American Professional replaced our shingled roof with a pitch that would scare a Sherpa in less than a week and without disrupting our work days.
  
They educated us about the added value of adding more insulation to our house to reduce energy costs. They took care of it with no added time when replacing our roof; it was seamless.

Their estimate was thousands less than 2 other companies for the same quality and they delivered on the price. Every employee that we had contact with treated us with respect and educated us through the entire roofing and insulation experience, this was our first new roof and insulation installation.

Every request, from the minimal thing was handled immediately and explained in a way that we understood. I believe they went hands down much further than we ever thought possible.

For months we tried to obtain an estimate from other companies to no avail. People just wouldn't even call back!!!??!! They would take a look at the extreme pitch of our roof and just ignore us.

The exact opposite with APR. APR arrived when promised and returned an estimate in less than a day. American Professional Roofing provides quality service for a fair price. I hope I never need a new roof, but if I do I am using American Professional Roofing.

Great job replacing the roof on my rental property.  I needed the job done quickly because my insurance gave me 60 days to replace the roof.  American Professional sent someone out quickly and worked me into their busy schedule so it could be done ASAP.  My tenants said they were very professional and completed the work in a day.  They were also very diligent about cleaning up everything afterwards.  Would definitely call on them again in the future.
