Little Rascals Wildlife Specialists

The smell was getting bad and the flies were just starting when I called Little Rascal Wildlife Specialists to inquire about the cost and how quickly someone could help.  I had called a few other companies but was only able to talk to a receptionist and then called Little Rascals Wildlife specialists and spoke directly with Scott, the owner.  I ask about cost, but he kept asking questions about my situation before he gave me an estimate which the other companies didn't ask questions before quoting a price.  I now understand why the questions, since there is so many variables affecting how difficult the job my be.  He arrived promptly at the appointment time and began his search.  He spent over an hour in the attic with temperatures likely at or over 160 degrees without any luck and had to get out of the heat before passing out.  He had a prior appointment and had to leave, but arranged to return the next day with more searching in the attic before determining  the squirrel was down inside a wall but not retrievable from the attic.  After further searching in the house he determined where he felt it was located and drilled a small hole and using a scope looked inside the wall and he was within a couple of inches of the dead squirrel.  He then cut a small hole, quickly removed the squirrel, treated the area for odor and patch up the wall.  Next a survey of the roof and chimney to insure entry points were eliminated, adjusting the chimney cap to prevent entry.
The work was done in a professional manner and he took the time to answer all our questions.

He showed up on time and was thorough in removing the snake and checking for rodents  around the house and in the attid. Very polite and  reasonably priced.

I had squirrels in my overhang.  I could hear them scurrying around.  Yuk!  Scott West came to my house and removed the mother and her four babies.  He showed up  on time, he communicated everything to me, he removed the squirrels in a humane manner.  He was efficient and professional PLUS his price was right

The guy who does the work shows up on time. He is well dressed, clean-cut, polite and reliable. His fees are reasonable. He guarantees his work. We have referred him to several neighbors not only in Columbia County, but also in Jacksonville and Gainesville. They have all used him. He is a really good guy. The squirrels had gotten down in the wall and chewed through the attic, the insulation and the wiring as well. We had a veritable fire hazard on our hands, but he cleaned all that out. He cleaned up the biohazard. He repaired our house and got rid of the squirrels humanely. Then he took them to the forest where they could live happily. It was $1142 for everything he did. He did beat the other cheapest person by almost $800 and he did better work than anybody I have ever had out here. He was quick in calling me back, but some of the people to whom I sent voice mails never even called me back. He kept me posted all the way along the process about when he was coming, how long he was going to take and when he would be back. He was great. I would use his services in the future too. In fact, I am already thinking about hiring him since I saw some rats out near my barn today.
