HERITAGE GLASS & WINDOW INC

The glaze on several windows began to distort viewing, almost like looking through a cloud or fog after about 3 years. Hertitage glass did not return over 6 calls placed in a two week period. When I finally got a person instead of voice mail, I was told that the warranty would have to be provided by the window manufacturer and that they did not honor the manufacturer's warranties. I was given the number for Gorell Windows and Doors. When I contacted them, I was informed that the company was purchased and although the name was the same, they did not honor warranties previous to the buy-out. BEWARE of lifetime warranties: they are only good as long as the company decides. ..And shame on Heritage for not honoring the warranty on the windows they sold me with a lifetime warranty!
