He was to come give an estimate on a Thursday, then called and asked to come on Sat. instead.( I got the impression that he doesn't work after 5 p.m) On Sat, we agreed on the services and the price and day of service. He then called the evening before and requested a few more days until he could get there, being behind due to rain (understandable). Called Mon. eve June 2nd saying he would be there in the morning. I explained that because I have severe asthma no one could smoke while they are here working. He said, "What!?" I repeated my request and he responded that they'd work with it. An hour later, I find a message on my answering machine saying I'd have to find someone else to do the job as he and all his crew smoked and weren't willing to give it up for the hours it would take to do the job. This unreliability put me in a stressful place, as the insurance company was breathing down our necks to get this done for our coverage. He knew this. I've since contacted other tree services and they have all been willing to abide by the non-smoking need.
